Xi and China handled the virus quite well given they had zero warning. Trump* and the US handling of the virus has been and continues to be an epic failure. And the US infections lagged China by months. If you think China should have completely contained the virus, you’re saying you have infinitely more confidence in China than the US. Trump chose to ignore the danger and downplay the potential of this virus, which is why USA is now in trouble.
If the claim by Trump and his insane dough boy son-in-law that the administration has done a good job and this is a success story, maybe Americans should consider what a success story actually is.
Germany has a population close to 90 million, which is approximately 28% of the population in USA. This means that Germany should now have around 19,000 dead for living up to the US success story level. Germany has suffered just under 7,000 dead as of today. Apparently, Germany is more successful than USA. Germany has a better leadership and they seem to be much better organized.
