Trump ignored advice in early Feb to recommend strict social distancing which would have saved lives. In early March there were only around 1500 cases and less than 45 deaths in the U.S. Governors probably did not know what was about to happen, but Trump did. Trump did not listen to his task force because they went against what he wanted, he knew what the virus could do and he lied about it, he has said so in his own words. That is a fact.
