This shows the inherent problem with having an executive branch headed by a President with immense powers. That’s just one person. If one Congressperson goes bonkers, they wouldn’t be able to do that much damage, but if the President goes bonkers they can do so much more damage. In Sweden, the legislative branch has almost complete power while the executive branch has indeed some powers but not nearly as much as in the USA.
