The August trial for three former Minneapolis police officers charged in George Floyd’s death has been delayed until March 2022. NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez reports on the judge’s reasoning.

It’s almost as if the first verdict is in doubt due to juror misconduct🤔
@Tessmage Tessera You are completely wrong in that assumption. I implore you to google “Definition of Jury Misconduct” and pick from any of the first 5 links that return. Preconceived Bias is a form of jury misconduct.
@AkshonClips Jury misconduct refers to conduct during an actual trial… not something a juror did prior to that trial.

@AkshonClips What lie are you talking about?
@AkshonClips There’s misconduct and then there’s misinformation. The questionnaire question presented to the potential jurors asked if the potential juror had attended any anti-police brutality protests in Minneapolis after the George Floyd video of his interaction with the 4 police officers was released. We don’t know how the juror in question answered the question. However, let’s say for argument’s sake that he answered “no”. The operative term here is “in Minneapolis”. So if he attended a protest in Washington D.C, but not in Minneapolis then his answer would not be a lie. That’s why it’s important that we have the correct information to draw a valid conclusion.
This should not be that hard for court systems and definitely shouldn’t be drawn out passed the end of this year. What happened to a speedy trial?
@Loren Inglish Since the beginning of 2015, officers from the Minneapolis Police Department have rendered people unconscious with neck restraints 44 times, according to an NBC News analysis of police records. Several police experts said that number appears to be unusually high.
Minneapolis police used neck restraints at least 237 times during that span, and in 16 percent of the incidents the suspects and other individuals lost consciousness, the department’s use-of-force records show.
Prosecutor: The concept of neck restraints and if we could publish page 52 of the exhibit and looking at the time period that you were doing this training neck restraints were AUTHORIZED by MPD policy correct?
Specialist LT johnny mercil: YES SIR
Prosecutor:can you please describe the training that you provided to minneapolis police officer regarding the use of neck restraints
Specialist LT johnny mercil: yes sir we uh we go over the techniques uh definitions of neck restraints then we’d uh go through different reps of the neck restraint to get the officers comfortable in doing it Prosecutor:those concepts of proportionality when it’s authorized to use a neck restraint of the two different varieties
Specialist LT johnny mercil: yes sir on subjects who are actively aggressive which means assaultive they’re actively resisting and if other techniques haven’t worked you can use it then
Chauvin attorney ask the Specialist about the training of the knee restraint
Lawyer:You train officer to use their knee across the back, shoulder and to the base of the neck of a subject
Specialist LT johnny mercil YES
Lawyer:That is something that is specifically trained by the minneapolis police department, whether it be for handcuffing purposes or simply prone control of a subject
Specialist LT johnny mercil: YES SIR
Lawyer:in terms of the use of force. You were just shown 184 im going to ask republish 184. Look at the crowd and individuals does it look like the man in blue is hold the man in black back
Specialist LT johnny mercil: The one with the boxing shirt on, YES he is holding him back
Lawyer:Now in terms of the continuation of the use of force. When we are talking about the involvement of on lookers. The words they use matter correct?
Specialist LT johnny mercil: Yes
Lawyer:If they are saying (YOUTUBECENSOR) Would that raise alarm for police officers
Specialist LT johnny mercil: YES SIR
In a hostile environment training says your attention to the area and if you need to make sure the subject doesnt escape you can hold him down longer. YOU CANT EVEN DO CPR according to training
The specialist also said true pressure on the neck takes really 10 sec for a person to be knocked out. not the MINS OF FLOYD YELLING
Lawyer:Have you been trained or train others To say if the person can talk they can breath
Specialist LT johnny mercil: ITS BEEN SAID YES
Defense: did you see any evidence that he was occluding the carotid artery
Medical Examiner BAKER:it did not appear to me on the video that his knee would have been able to occlude the carotid artery. Even if it were, normal people have two carotid arteries and the the unoccluded carotid artery would continue to supply blood to the brain

Lawyer: “are you uh familiar with the concept of camera perspective bias?
Chief Medaria Arradondo: i am not counselor
Lawyer: “from the perspective of miss frazier’s camera it appears that officer chauvin’s knee is on the neck of mr floyd.”
Chief Medaria Arradondo: yes
Lawyer: “would you agree that from the perspective of officer king’s body camera it appears that officer chauvin’s knee was MORE ON mr floyd’s SHOULDER BLADE??
chief Medaria Arradondo: YES
@j m Yeah he’s been convicted of murder and this is about other 3 officers involved in that murder.

@Loren Inglish There really isnt intent. I could see him maybe guilty of manslaughter. But they did what they are trained to do. It blows my mind people care this much about a P0S like floyd
@Scott Baxendale I get it. I just hope that if they’re found guilty in the federal case and then also found guilty in the state case that they don’t appeal the state conviction on the grounds that the federal conviction prejudiced the state case.
What happened to a fair and speedy trial ?
@Tessmage Tessera you seem to be doing enough talking for me there WS SJW
@Farm Jedi LOL… getting what you want yet..?

@Tessmage Tessera i figured out you are a liberal WS. the worst kind. bye Felicia.
@Farm Jedi Are you sad because your side keeps losing..?
Another “Summer of Love!” 🤦♂️
It’s a witch hunt 2021 style. These guys had nothing to do with it. It was negligence not murder anyway. I hope it gets flipped on appeal.
start looting tonight lol
@Ron S nope, it’s not a witch hunt since the event was filmed and the three former officers backed up and enabled Chauvin, it was legally defined as murder 2 and not negligence, and it won’t be flipped. Everything you said is wrong
yep! masks off, condoms off
@Spatchmo Just because some liberal lake loon “defined” it as murder, doesn’t mean it is. They are playing to the rioters and will do whatever they want. We all know what really happened. The cops are not guilty except in a MN kook court.
The Fed’s just filed more charges and the state is waiting until those cases are finished. This makes perfect sense.
They hate cleaning up a cop mess
Proud of George, he hasn’t added to his extensive rap sheet for a while now
He turned it around.
@Lando is the black cop and the Asian cop WS now?
Either has Derek Chauvin! Not only does he face felony tax evasion charges, he owes many people money. He’s in the safest place for his well-being!
Jebron lames No… but Chauvin and the remaining “three stooges” have.
Neither has Chauvin since he’s been behind bars. It’s a travesty that he had to murder someone on video tape in order for that to have happened.
W
Oh for those that can’t read or write THATS spelled SANDFORD. Period!!!”
Where are the missing ballots in Maricopa County? Why was the database for the 2020 election in Maricopa county deleted before it was turned over to the auditors?
@Smiley Smiles tbf the left in this country spent 4 years constantly crying about how Russian collusion led to Trump’s election. Not only did the left and the vast majority of mainstream media cry about it for 4 years, we also spent over 50 million dollars investigating iy and came up with nothing beyond facebook ads privately purchased by Russians.
Lol it’s funny when adults are easier to trick than children
@343Films tell a lie long enough people will believe it…”they stole the election..LETS STORM THE CAPITOL BUILDING!” what mind come up with this?
Conspiracy theorists need help with their mental health. Smh I hope you people get the help you need.
Because sore losers made the story up.
March 2022…..
Why don’t we recycle paint brush handles ? Sure, the old bristles are no good. Throw them away and put new ones.
I think it’s the same way with toothbrushes. There are toothbrushes that have replaceable bristles, but not enough people have caught on to achieve a critical mass of consumers to make it viable for manufacturers to create separate bristles.

Justice Delayed is Justice Denied
I agree. Those cops were doing their job and are NOT GUILTY! No justice for the white man!
I mean it doesn’t really matter federal court or regular Court they are still f*****
I ate too many drugs
I ain’t do no drugs.
Lovely photoshop
Federal civil rights charge first? Looks like they’re setting up for something.
we all need make a stand for them we cant stand for mob justice

2 of the officers were brand new worked only a few shifts. they also worked community service. good guys it seems. They had to follow orders yet they both in different ways questioned chauvin but he is the boss and the other veteran cop was guarding from the public refusing help or to stop chauvin.. Only way the 2 new guys will have a chance is to distance themselves from the veteran cops who killed Floyd.
