STARS Air ambulance cost just under $11,000 for my 2 yr old to get lifted to a city hospital here in Saskatchewan – and the chopper flight was only 45 min. So… I’m thinking that $33k isn’t a stretch for getting lifted out of Jamaica & much further…. I daresay it actually may have been cheaper lol

Why didn’t he get treatment in Jamaica instead? I’m pretty sure healthcare is much better there than in Canada.
