    1. I’m 32 but realize I’m just really starting to really grow up because of how this makes me feel the exact same way as you! I haven’t been this excited for years & I am thankful for this to happen …I hope all goes well!

    1. If only they would use all that money to solve the earth’s problems instead of spending it on a useless unpopulated planet.

    2. @Big AL naw the problems ain’t goin anywhere. Humans create as many problems as they solve. Someone has to look to the future and the stars because eventually we’ll be heading there

    1. is that the official date? I have a healthy skepticism about the date but I can’t F’n wait for that… Say what you want about state of current events but it truly is a beautiful time for sciences & space exploration….And I’m beyond thankful for being able to witness this!

    2. @thedirty530 Fingers x’d . Started in 96 . 25 years ago . Unbelievable huh? My only fear is they get it out there and it needs a contact lens like Hubble. I will literally have a meltdown like in 2018 lol.

    3. @Mark Keogh Absolutely! I’m ramped for this . So many don’t know and don’t care about this . I don’t understand that.

    1. @World Really? You are going to tell me that somewhere on this planet there is no fossilized human from thousands or millions of years ago? May be not all of us are, but plenty of people are somewhere.

    1. I’m sure she’s just as refreshed that she didn’t have to talk about him. He’s powerless and is finally on his way to being irrelevant.

  1. It’s amazing what we, as humans, can achieve when we are not fighting about politics, believes, and religion.

    1. Right when we get the chance to answer some the the most fundamental questions in human history…Oh Lord of science, please unite thee!

    2. @thedirty530 so Bill Nye? Mike Tyson? Alexander Graham Belle or Ook Ook the inventor of the wheel? Which scientist ascended to being the god of science? 🤓😁

    3. Just gives us time, before you know it governments will be fighting about who owns Mars or parts of Mars. I never forget a scene from the movie Terminator, in which young Conor asks the Terminator (Arnold), “we are not going to make, are we?’ To which the Terminator replies, “it’s in your nature to destroy yourselves!” Sometimes Hollywood gets it right and either movies reflect the truth of our society or predict the future.

  2. So, we’re gonna get to see some rover battles, right?
I mean, that is why we’re doing this, right?

    1. Grant Imahara would be so proud..

Oh the Terran wars it would cause to shoot some other nation’s drone on Mars! XD

  3. Yeah rather than fixing the planet we live on let’s see if it’s possible to live on another and destroy that one instead!
