Raise taxes. Toronto can afford it. Then cut back on spending. Cut back on TTC services. Last year’s ridership is not coming back. Introduce a Toronto sales tax. Use the tools you have and stop begging for handouts. I don’t want my tax dollars to go to services I don’t use. Roll back city council raise you voted for yourselves. Tsk tsk! Close down city hall and use zoom. In 2018 Toronto council decided to double their councillor office budget to $428000 per year per councillor. Toronto has 26. This was done after Ford cut the number councillors by half. Plus they get a lot perks. Tory you are already rich. Donate your salary to healthcare workers.
