shouldnt they be arrested for fare violation
who says they aren’t paying a fare? How would arresting someone already going through issues make their life any better? And who would arrest them or process the cases etc? There is a back log of real cases/ real crimes already in the system. Do you really believe the police care enough to arrest someone over a minor fare violation…and if they did do you really think the already overburden court system would do anything?
Are you paying rent? No? Should you too not get arrested then?
@Pac Man You said that to a rock, you would probably have a reaction. Capitalists don’t care.
Wouldn’t that half billion be better spent on housing them instead of counseling them?
No, the housing is for the replacements
Use 10 subway coaches, and convert them into living quarters. Park them on and unused siding.
Imagine what would be going in them after like 1 day?
let’s hug criminals
