@Truth I’m not aware of any evidence of “cheating.” No vote totals were changed that I’m aware of. Voter suppression is absolutely a thing, though. The GOP knows that low turnout favors them.
I understand the appeal of getting rid of the electoral college, but I think you are more likely to get struck by lightning indoors. It would require a constitutional amendment, which is very difficult to achieve by design, and as long as one group feels it favors them, they will not get on board. That’s not a partisan complaint against Republicans, either – if Democrats believed that the electoral college favored them more than the popular vote they would support it too.
