Tiger Woods was injured in a serious single-car crash near Los Angeles. He has been taken to a local hospital.

Golfer Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a one-car, rollover crash in the Los Angeles area on Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Though he was unable to confirm Woods' identity, Los Angeles County Fire Department spokesperson Christopher Thomas classified the crash victim's injuries to USA TODAY Sports as serious but non-life threatening.
Woods' longtime agent, Mark Steinberg, said only that the golfer suffered "multiple leg injuries."
"He is currently in surgery and we thank you for your privacy and support," Steinberg said Tuesday afternoon.
According to authorities, the crash occurred early Tuesday morning, shortly after 7 a.m. PT, in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the vehicle sustained "major damage."
