Tiger and New York zoo tests positive for novel coronavirus

The Bronx Zoo announced what is believed to be the first known case of a non-domesticated animal contracting COVID-19 in the world.

    1. if its transmiisable to household cats thats really gonna throw a wrench in getting this thing under control… do you know how many strays there are in NY, Chicago, and LA alone?

  1. And of course no one is concerned about the tiger’s wellbeing, they’re only concerned about the tiger passing the virus onto humans

  2. If this is transmittable to household felines and wild cats this could have huge implications for the spread of this disease and even the length/effectiveness of a quarantine.
