That happened to me with a freight train somewhere around 60 years ago. But I had to actually jump off the bridge. It was only about a 10 foot drop and I learned to never do that again.

Agreed. The train operator should of just kept going.
In Ontario this typically happens with GO Transit even as these trespassers get hit and it’s very sad to think that about almost every single GO crew has experienced this 🙁
