Acts like this make me believe even more in the importance of the secularity of the state. The events that supposedly justified acts of horrors from deranged idiotic extremists were respectful of personal beliefs. The teacher that got decapitated a couple of days ago warned the students that he was going to show caricatures of Mahomet in order to have a social debate and offered every student the option to leave the class without their grade being affected. I don’t care if it comes from the U.S. president or an Islamist leader, I’m tired of people putting religion in the middle of public affairs.
Well get ready to get more tired because Sharia law will become the backbone of British culture in your lifetime.

Sharia won’t become the ‘backbone” of British law but decisions are already legally binding and can be enforced by bailiffs. Thousands of people a week use Sharia Courts and not the British legal courts.
Brunei went from secular to Sharia law. It isn’t impossible if Muslims make up more than 50% of the population which they eventually will, although not in my lifetime. We are a democratic state. The majority gets to decide what they want. The majority of British Muslim do want Sharia law according to surveys.

@Akash Guha Thakurata The “Russia ‘collision’ (you mean collusion, right?) hoax” was a masterful example of spin by AG Barr. That’s not what Mueller said in his report. He actually said that he couldn’t prove Trump conspired with Russia because Trump had blocked their investigation. Mueller went on to say that Trump was guilty of obstruction and instructed the Congress pursue charges. The House tried but Trump ignored their subpoenas and blocked people from testifying.
Trump himself said a couple of times that if Russia offered election help, he’d take it. And the one person who can confirm whether he’d personally taken that help in 2016 had his prison sentence commuted so he didn’t serve a single day.
Even so, if you’d listened to the de debil MSM, you would’ve heard them say “alleged Russian collusion.” Same with the accusations against Kavanaugh because, again, it hadn’t been proven by Congress or in a court of law.
