There is a magical place called Mar a Lago, where people enter as lawyers and leave as defendants
@Jao Bidan they’re called Supreme Court justices
@Louise Cardinal Kinda the point, ainnit? Defendants are many times criminals.
KILLER comment Mr. Ironic! 👍
Wisdom, experience, and good relationships with global leaders should be respected and appreciated.
@J B 👈. So you watch and get your news from CNN? 🤣😂🤣😂🤣🤡
Can anyone think of a bigger waste of money than a new luxury suv? Besides ukraine of course😊
@Paul he could of been black as well
You obviously looked the other way.
@Tamme Brown 👈. Like that makes sense?🤔
Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever again!! Couldn’t be said better.
@GonnaCrySnowflakeLmao hi hi hi what a funny thing to say …
Ever, ever….was it 7 or 8 “evers?”
Gas prices less that $2 dollars. Low interest rates. Low inflation. Respect from Russia: no new wars. I’ll take Trump back any day. Oil flowing in from Saudi Arabia, Canada and the USA. The oil reserves were full.
Michael Smerconish is the kind of journalist we need more of. He’s thoughtful, unbiased and he actually listens to what his guests have to say.
@GonnaCrySnowflakeLmao Bide wins Trump whines. Maybe the election was stolen, how does that make you feel?😂 I guess voting is a waste of time. Sorry bout your luck with that.
@GonnaCrySnowflakeLmao Biden is winning, Trump is whining. Biden is the White House. Trump is down at MARA-LARDO crying into his ketchup and fries.
Sorry bout your luck with that. 😂
@Radagast Brown If Biden needed over 25,000 ARMY troops to guard him from the people on Inauguration Day,than it’s clear that he wasn’t elected by the people🤣🤣🤣💀.

@ScootMagoot46 and COMPLETELY unbiased 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
I think it would have been a good idea to have weekly fireside chats with both of them discussing the situations Americans are facing everyday in the US. It would give people confidence in both Biden’s mental acuity and Kamala’s competency. And it would be a nice contrast to Trump’s gross rallies.
@Alex Walker Or alive.
@@cactustree505 agree 💯
Thanks for a good discussion. He makes a lot of sense. Basically agree with him. Agree the game needs to be upped with respect to the white working class. I do think, however, the abortion issue is of paramount importance, not to be underestimated. I think one thing that might help is Kamala could get better press. She has been sort of tucked away behind the scenes. What are her accomplishments? One I recall was when she was able to help India during the Covid crisis. This should speak to positive foreign relations. What went wrong with the border situation? I still don’t completely understand it, but the situation at our southern border is important and needs to be addressed. Can we fix it?
Please forgive my ignorance – unclear what is meant by the “out” being the Supreme Court. Our current Court seems to be stuck in the mud of corruption and waning faith of the American people. It definitely needs an upgrade or some comprehensive review. Maybe that is where that thought was going.
Thank you for sharing. Important discussion.
She’s done more good than Pence, imo. Hard to say when VP is normally kinda in the shadows anyways.
Absolutely. Thing is- Democrats have higher standards. I used to really like Kamala from hearings & was excited when she ran for pres. But then she was either invisible or canned- comes off contrived. Same with Klobuchar. And as a woman I was rooting for them. It can’t be overstated just how close we are to irreversible catastrophe as a democracy & a “meh” VP isn’t going to cut it. After seeing Hakim Jeffries in this new Congress I had the thought myself about him.
@lulu in hollywood Gota d
What has she done😂😂😂
What has she done? And are you sure you’d want Pence as a standard? Harris couldn’t keep her own presidential campaign in order; she let her sister roll over her campaign manager (look it up), never had a message other than insinuating Biden was a racist and is widely disliked by voters. Between Biden and Trump, we know who to elect but between Harris and Nikki Haley (whom you may be sure Trump will pick), people will choose Haley, and I can’t really blame them.

When is Jack gonna get his show on the road? Time is flying by!
brownie rule , yum yum yum
I am also worried about time running out
Getting to like Michaels interviewing style more and more,he allows a dignified conversation to develop and interjects when necessary.
the American system of an elected ‘King’ means a search for individuals who have to match people’s fantasies. A parliamentary system elects a party -or parties-with a a program. The emphasis on a person means that candidates have to appear special and distinct from other candidates. Given that the understanding of many voters is limited-or limited by their choice of media, this can lead to choice being made on non-policy issues, like their gender, ‘ethnic origin or religion. A presidential election can be a popularity contest
The Parliamentary system definitely has advantages. We’re kinda stuck with what we have though.
A parliamentary system makes the choice for you, and that’s not necessarily an advantage. It means most candidates would come out of congress and while you will certainly end up with a candidate who knows how to work the system, you might end up with an apparatchik. That means Obama would not have been elected (after only two years in the senate) or Trump, who could have been a game-changer if he had had a brain and a heart.
@Happywarrior True. I don’t think the parliamentary system is perfect. The disadvantages of ours have really been showing themselves for the past few years. At the time our Constitution was written they really didn’t have a good model to copy. America is one of modern democracy’s first drafts. Unfortunately it’s not practical to do a rewrite at this point.
I often think the world might be better off if we hadn’t had the revolutionary war. We, along with Britain would still have ended up with a democracy. We, like Canada and Australia would still have become independent. We’d have inherited a time-tested parliamentary democracy. Slavery would have ended much sooner too.
“Normally people don’t vote around the vice president. They vote around the president…” Well, there was this one time George McGovern had to let go of his pick for VP candidate, Thomas Eagleton, back in 1972 over concerns about and potential scandal surrounding his mental health issues.
Remember Perot’s pick for VP? Didn’t matter, it was enough to split the vote and sink Bush senior.
It is easy saying “all that she’s done” when you don’t identify anything she’s done.
@PixiPatricia you don’t need to worry about comparing anything to Kamala Harris, she is beyond the pale.
@PixiPatricia That’s it. Talk about oranges while the conversation is about apples.
@PixiPatricia
He did a great job as a sycophant.
@PixiPatricia He was working on his tan with mother. He could just never commit to his favorite shade of orange. Too much flavor.
I think this situation is exactly why VP’s are an important thing. I have *no* qualms about voting for an aging politician (who is sane to begin with) if they run with a VP who is capable, competent, and democratically ethical. If a candidate cares more about the country than about their own ego, and is someone who listens to those around him who’ve proven trustworthy over the decades, then I trust they would be able to step down if age-related matters got the better of them during their term, and would have plenty of support to whatever extent needed, to continue their term if *that* were for the best. Biden has my full trust in that way.
Well spoken!
Agree. Regardless of whether the VP sways voters in an election it matters this time. She only speaks about race. This country has had too much talk about race. I know nothing of what she knows about governing this country.
Because recent time race is sensitive because the past president was racist. It cannot be the only thing Harris has as her agenda.
What has she said about war, the budget?
We need new candidates!! Who will step up to lead unite our country in these difficult times?
“Damning with faint praise” by Ron Klain.
Val Demings !!!
Always impressed with her!!!
COLD RED…there’s no words to describe his behavior…he even said can you believes they raided my house…😉😅😂😭😱
Thinking about this new election makes me so nervous one thing 🤔
I just want someone who goes to work, pays attention to experts and is not concerned about polls or popularity. ❤ GOD Bless Everyone
