My problem with all this is why just TiKTok? I can understand the argument that because TikTok has serious security issues that there should be such a level of concern. But not too long ago Facebook was playing around with people’s private information. Why not the same response? Twitter, Instagram, Reddit et al could easily present the same level security concern. In the case of Canada these are all American owned in nature. Shouldn’t we place them under the same security bubble as TikTok? I think a double standard is being played out in this regard. I think we should all be concerned about that.
