    1. @J Drake cant they are dead!
had morons not commited their elders to those care homes they would be alive. blame yourselves.

  1. “There’s a trade-off between *LIVES*, and economic concerns.” Use the proper words, Mr. If You or Your Family Members Die, That’s Okay So Long It’s Not Me or My Family

    1. The health consequences, and considerations, are symmetric. Mr. Lander didn’t address this, unfortunately. His analysis was rather simplistic, not too insightful, and focused purely on economics which I agree is inappropriate. There are credible medical scientists discussing the balance between lives at risk due to covid and lives at risk due to the consequences of lock down. For example Dr. John Ioannidis and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, both from Stanford. If you search for those names you find credible discussion of the public health trade offs.

    2. if my family member kills themselves because the economic impact fucks them over then what? is it fair to blame all of you who supported the lockdowns for that one death? by your own logic it would be fair game
