Horrible I can’t imagine having to leave my baby
Why couldn’t they take their dog.
This is what happens when you try to cross an international border. There’s no such thing as economic asylum. Most of their cases will be rejected.
Their cases will never be heard. They will disappear and hide, which is the plan all along.
None of them will be sent back. These are Democrat voters to keep the democrats in power for years and years.

I was being legal in United States for almost 8 years ; and my wait time to be citizen is almost 30 years .

This is just unbelievable we need help also , what about the homeless and veterans and seniors having a hard time that have paid into the government! This isn’t right no housing that’s reasonable for American stop giving out handouts to foreigners
Talk to charities… there are groups that especially find housing and jobs for immigrants. I told them they should be helping vets and homeless.
Then do something to help those people out instead of whining to CNN. You got the internet and time to be here so you got time to do something else. Call your congressman or whatever
@Sachi Israel Immigrants, both documented and undocumented, paid an estimated $328 billion in state, federal, and local taxes in 2014 alone. A report from the office shows that 50% to 75% of undocumented immigrants pay billions in taxes each year , they pay into a system they cant use . They do the jobs you and other Americans are not willing to , they work in the fields planting and harvesting the crops you eat and keeping the cost lower for you , the women work with the elderly , or the disabled or doing cleaning . They work damn hard and are willing to do any job they dont want or need a handout .
Out of curiosity do you do anything to help any of the people you mentioned ? It doesnt even have to be financial , volunteering your time at a soup kitchen , or taking the time to sit and talk and engage with the homeless or spending time reading or writing letters for seniors is priceless .

No chance I’m going across. I don’t care if my dog was going to the best home. He’s still gonna spend his life wondering where I went and when I’m coming to get him.
Easy to say from your safe place of privilege you were born into instead of the unsafe place of desperation they are in . If the choice was having a chance of being able to take care of your children or staying with your dog and not being able to take care of your children and your children not being safe , as much as we all love our dogs taking care of our kids and their safety comes first .

oddly, it is easier to get the dog across legally than the kids. Trip to a vet for shots and vaccination documents. I once had “smuggle” a dog born in the united states, but lost its papers, back in to the Unied States.
Must be nice to just break the law and then be rewarded for it , fukin pathetic!
I’m not going to pretend like I know exactly what happened here but if this family needed a health certificate for the dog to enter the US,AT THE VERY LEAST SOMEONE WITH THE US GOVERNMENT AND/OR IMMIGRATION SHOULD HAVE TOLD THEM WHERE TO GO TO GET ONE AND THEN PAID FOR IT!!! FOR THIS FAMILY TO HAVE TO LEAVE THEIR FOUR LEGGED FAMILY MEMBER BEHIND BECAUSE OF A LACK OF THE PROPER PAPERWORK IS JUST WRONG!!!

So sad! We have gangs here in our neighborhood. Brooklyn, Bronx, Far Rockaway. If we run into other neighborhoods we will be arrested. We have to suffer it out with gangs. Nobody care about us. But they get help not fair

@Jackie Green you have far more advantages and far more opportunities and far more help available to you then where these people run from that is why they are willing to risk their lives walking 1000’s of miles for the chance to survive and have a safer life , a better life than they had . Put some effort and work into bettering your life like they are , I guarantee they wouldnt squander the chances you have had .
That really hurts to hear. Dogs become like family, you love them so much and they trust you so completely to be there for them and to care for them. We don’t have to be heartless.

@Johnny Davis It’s nearly impossible to get into this country legally. It can take years of court dates just to get papers and our system is a mess. We need immigration reform and we need it now.
