    4. Trump was elected in 2016 because there was a vacuum created by Americans being unhappy with government. The Dems have a great opportunity to show the American people that they will improve things. Things are at the bottom now and so there is nowhere to go but up.

      With one difference – Bush did not TRY to create the disaster, or to make it worse – Trump does both. The classic plan was, “Let’s blame the other side for our mess when we create one.” The new plan is if there is a mess and you lose, make it as bad as possible before you leave, and then blame THAT on the other guys.
