An idea about those people of color……. it’s time (we) white folk entertain the idea that other cultures have skills and talent unique to their cultures. Without opportunity provided by the holders of the keys to the doors of opportunity, those virtues of other cultures will continue to be suppressed. It’s time (we) white folk take a second to consider what it’s like being treated as if feared, or that they don’t exist. A phenomenal mathematical system was invented by the Yoruba of Nigeria centuries ago. How or why would those of African heritage even know about it? The culture that embraces and celebrates the fruits of that mathematical phenomenon? Latinos.
