  1. I would be ever grateful if you did some episodes with a rural focus. We are one nation but my experiences and opportunities are so very different than those of an urban dweller. I do contact my representatives, on all levels of government. The Farm Bureau is very good at alerting members to pertinent issues. Maybe having a guest representing Farm Bureau or the Extension Service would be an idea. You could educate urbanites that a large portion of the farm bill is for relief programs that are in place in all areas like WIC and free/reduced school lunches. Those big dollars are not all going to farmers. Another topic would be the tariff disasters. Or severe opioid and mental health crises in rural areas. Rural communities also are often technologically challenged. No cell service at my house. Internet available only through expensive and not very reliable satellite service. This lack of connection hampers business and education. Somewhat of a niche topic maybe, but most of our ball caps advertise seed corn or tractors rather than MAGA. (Personally that would be zero MAGAs!) Love the podcast and love your TV show. Keep educating and challenging us to think.
