  1. I’m reminded of how the world united with us in support during that time. We are now at a 180 from that amazing solidarity 20 years ago and that is very sad, concerning and makes me angry.

    1. I blame our politicians. I blame the extreme right and extreme left. I blame Socialist who take pages from 1939 Germany

    2. @James Spencer so you blame the Democrat party, and the leftist socialist there pretty much the same thing🤔

  2. EVEN on this day …. a day to remember all those who died … a day to give thanks to all those who stepped up to assist & to those who’s live’s were lost in service that day & later ….. there are some individuals who can not or will not put their political belief’s aside … it is truly sad for it show’s how very little was learnt from that horrific day …. my prayers for those who grieve this day … God Bless … Zoe , Canadian neighbor

  3. It feels weird that this happened so long ago that some adults weren’t alive during this and don’t really know the impact of that day. My sister was born exactly a month before it happened and I was in 7th grade and remember thinking the world was ending

    1. Agree with you, I was 28 and thought the same thing. That must have been so scary and confusing for you at 12. Don’t feel old though, you are still youngster to me! Enjoy your youth and life, make the most of every precious day until your dreams come true. Wishing a long, healthy and joyful life.

    2. I was 9 years old going on 10 by the time October was nearing its end. As a fourth grader at the time, I thought the same way myself. Wouldn’t be surprised if many young people like myself were permanently traumatized by that day. Sometimes, I feel like it did a number on my psyche as well.

  4. I wish that people thought more like I felt as a child and so many others. I didn’t understand politics at that time, nor do I now for that matter, but I knew we needed to all be together because we knew it mattered to be United. Nobody cared about democrat or republican. We just needed to protect the country

    1. Um…..That would be incorrect. People cared about politics back then….we just have more white supremacists GOP nutbags because of Trump. Pay attention.

    2. @Sue Lyons-I remember that there were people who politicized 9/11.The days and months and until the end of George W. Bush’s two terms as President some people were incensed if anyone dare utter a word against him. It’s very true that 9/11 brought out the best in people then right after came the politics.Though I will say everyone was respectful to those that had died in the attacks. There were no smug faces of people smiling and giggling smugly like now during the virus.

    1. @Bruh Taliban are to blame. When a murder kills a person you don’t point the finger at the parents, it’s always the killer who everyone wants punished. You’re unpatriotic comment on a day such as 9/11 just goes to show just how American you’re clearly not. Get out of my country. 🇺🇸 When civilians speak on behalf of troops just so you know…we don’t care what you think or about politics. All that matters is fellow servicemen died and getting revenge to honor those fallen by finding the enemy is the plan. Then again you wouldn’t know anything from the seat of your couch. Go be Republican somewhere else, ditch your mask, don’t get the shot and don’t worry about big boy problems. Well handle it from here.

    2. @Maddie Scientist How many Republicans does it take to change a lightbulb? None, Republicans are afraid of any change that makes the world a brighter place!🤣👏👏

  5. Most people don’t realize that Gander used to be a stopping point for airliners because they did not have the “legs” or range to make it all the way across the Atlantic without refueling. Air traffic used to be fairly heavy (just not that kind of aircraft; wide bodies ended the need for stopping) there. Aircraft headed east would take off light from the US and then take the full load in Gander. Coming from Europe, they would take off heavy, and have to take a splash of fuel to make it the rest of the way into the US.

    1. Gander’s airport was the largest on the planet in 1940 and was crucial to ferrying aircraft from North America to Britain during War II. Canadian, American, and British troops were stationed, while over 1,500 Newfoundlers worked there. By 1945, the airfield had four runways and the most advanced communications system available.

    1. @Maria-Melek “Bill Cooper predicts 9/11 in June 2001 & Introduction MAVs” youtube that youll find the dude op was referring to . its an interesting story

  6. I saw a documentary on all these planes landing in Newfoundland. The town folk came out in droves to provide shelter, food, whatever was needed. The people in Gander are a great family of people. What a great reaction to a catastrophe in the USA. I love these people. They are true humanitarians. Thank you, thank you, thank you. God be with you always. Your reactions proved that miracles do happen within the human perspective.

    1. @dixie chicken it’s refreshing to know this. It just warmed my heart to see those people come to the aid of others. Pure magic! ❤️❤️❤️

    2. My favorite story was about a guy who stayed with a woman ,used her dead husbands clothing and cooked and cleaned for him When leaving he told her ” Madam come to Chicago and I’ll make sure you’ll be taken of ” and handed her a BEST WESTERN business card .
When she asked him if he worked for BEST WESTERN he replied ” No Madam …I OWN IT “

    3. @Richard Hunt omg! I never heard that. Wow. That’s a story on it’s own. The people of Gander out did themselves. They are truly heroes at a time when the USA needed it. I love those people.

    4. I too love this story. God Bless all the new foundland people. What a great loving. Giving. Caring show of help and support to our fellow humans.

  7. “Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you are the true Son of God and that you died on the cross to rescue me from my sins, death and to restore me to heaven to be with the Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit. I choose now to turn from my sins, my selfish ways, and every part of my life that does not please you. I choose to serve you and I choose to give my entire life to you. I believe in you. I believe you are the way, the truth, and the light. I accept you into my heart, into my soul, and into my mind. I choose to serve you and to receive your love and forgiveness. I ask you to take your rightful place in my life as my Lord and Savior. please lord of lords and king of kings come reign your peace, love, and happiness into my heart and into my soul. fill my heart and my soul with your love and your life, and help me to become a better person who is truly loving and trusting —a person like you. Please cleanse my mind, body, and soul from the demonic entities that have been tormenting me my whole life. may the blood from your sacrifice wash my sins away and restore my mind, body and soul in your name Jesus Christ. allow me to Live, Love, Learn and grow through you. please bless my soul in your holy name, the heavenly father, and the holy spirits name and help replenish the strength of my mind, body, and soul in your honor. Thank you, God of the Holy Land and the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen”

  8. That’s a good feel good story to remind us all of the potential goodness of humanity. We’re too inundated with the worst right now so this is a breath of fresh air

  9. Last year you called me a conspiracy theorist.. I’m actually the Mystery of Babylon..I have something to tell you

    1. I’m so happy for taking the bold step in working and investing $2000 with Mr Oscar Anderson after a week I received $6468 to my bank
