  1. I just can’t wait for the docuseries of Trumps entire life and presidency with the ability of close associates to speak the truth. I’ll send a copy to Trump in prison to sign it so I can sell it on eBay.

We all know we have only heard a small percent of the crap he has done.

    1. @David M Trump can run again in 2024. He can hold a ton of rallies for 4 years, while you all yell nonsense like “Sleepy/Dementia Joe”. Trump will be slightly older, in 2014, than Biden is now, though. But, he will still have the same ridiculous outdated hair and ugly orange make-up.

    1. @Richard Vanslyke and the video of joe saying your not going to get the billion dollars if the prosecutor isn’t fired by the time I leave. Isn’t corruption ? That’s a QUID PRO QUO.
Didn’t have to dig up anything. Joes own words are on video. So asking a foreign government bout that is corruption ? Hilarious

    2. @David Hale Wrong, Joe went through all tje proper channels. It was publicly known on an International level that the UK was corrupt and was not investigating corruption in his own Country. How about you get your information somewhere else besides a right-wing conspiracy channel.

    3. @Richard Vanslyke sure he did. Whatever. Just excuses excuses. Well I’m done here. Had enough of your two faced nonsense

  2. The founders seem to be like a political version of the Beatles, as a team, the study the oldies, and made them better, which made them start creating thier own songs, which made them even greater.

  3. 2020 shows how broken our American democratic system is. Time to rethink the electoral college and the election process.

  4. Is it time to subpoena the notetaker from Helsinki yet? Those notes fat-donny stole are the property of the people!

    1. It’s a good job Joe “America Last” Biden is not the President of America. Trump 2020 huge court win. Loser dems crying.

    1. @Karen Byrd Definitely overdoing your sarcasm. But of course that attitude is why half the country hates us liberals. I guess I could have clarified it and just said GOP, instead of “us” provided they live and breath originalist thought.

  5. When is this four year nightmare going to be over!!! Trump cannot face the facts there are real American don’t want him in our house!!!! It’s OUR HOUSE and we want u out! Now’nn

  6. t’rump’s legacy:
    1. Impeached for selling out our democracy
    2. Gave up on the pandemic to the tune of 275,000 dead Americans.
    3. “Person woman man camera…tv!”

  7. As a lifelong student of history, I love to see history geeks get together and indulge their love of their (and my) favorite subject! 🙂

  8. Just don’t EVER claim that the Founders were Christians founding a “Christian nation.” They were NOT. The first “five” presidents were “Deists” out to create freedom of “all” religions – and “no” religion by keeping church and state separate. Many Christians wanted a theocracy instead. Secondly, I disagree that the Founders were some kind of “team.” They were at constant odds, fighting and even loathing each another — Jefferson and Hamilton being just one famous example. No love lost there, ever.

    1. The US was far better when it was owned by the English Kings. England only gave up killing rebellious “Americans” because they had just found Australia and the English thought let them have their independence this war is costing us too much money and we have Australia now.

  9. Why is no one seeing that trump weaseled his way into office by blackmailing politicians, religious leaders, and others? Taking a page from that same book, he is trying to access our deepest national secrets to either stay in power or to get a free get out of jail card. He could also be looking to sell those secrets to our enemies to help him achieve his goals.

  10. Too bad Madison wasn’t smart enough to stay out of the War of 1812.

Canada celebrates defeating the Americans at the Battle of Queenston Heights. Jefferson had said “Taking Canada was as easy as marching.” Yet they failed.

  11. I like this news clip because it is a discussion of a group of men whose lives have had a very profound effect on the way everyone thinks in our world today. They came together, and formed a government that they thought would bring freedom and justice, be governed by the people, and last for hundreds of years. They set up a nation that with a government that makes it hard for us to bring about change. Yet the changes they made came about rapidly, and were only allowed to exist because the people who were in the Colonies at the time, were willing to become traitors against the King they had been loyal to all of their lives, in exchange for the ideas that had been laid out before them. They were trying to create a more perfect union, one that could not easily become undone,
and one where the people could make changes, if they all came together and agreed. The words “More Perfect Union ”
Is an addition that they knew that they were unable to create one that was perfect. Yet they were trying to create one with enough checks and balances, so that little changes could be made to rebalance power, if one branch of government becomes more powerful than the other. This is the idea of government that I was brought up to believe in all of my life. However, in the time in history that these ideas were set in motion, technology, and ways of living, were all changing at a very slow pace compared to the way they are changing and advancing in our world today. The slow pace of change that our forefathers had in mind, never took into account any of the technology that we have today, because it was not yet invented, or even thought of. We may need to do something with our Constitution, that allows for us to change more rapidly, when advances in science and technology have out grown the society that we have become accustomed to.
The United States of America is showing symptoms of division, because scientific advances and technology are growing at a faster pace than our government is able to keep pace with. So much so, that the advances of science have become a political argument, in which one side has taken a stance of denial of Truth and Facts. We can not let Truth and Facts become just opinions to divide our political parties, and our people.
The fastest way that news could spread out into the country during the 1700s was by newspaper . And the printing press was state of the art technology. They knew back then that they could have manipulative power over people’s opinions with this new technology. They also believed that if they gave every man the right to own a gun, that they could break away from the king that they had all pledged their allegiance to, for their entire lives. They could not have known that guns would be as powerful as they are today. They didn’t know of planes , trains and automobiles. The atomic bomb was not even an idea. People still thought that bleeding would help cure sickness.
The idea that white people were Supreme creations of God over Black people, was how everyone was taught to believe back in those days. Women and children were considered the property of a man.
If people didn’t plant food, raise animals, or hunt, they would not eat.
Unless they were able to obtain gold or silver, by working with an industry that provided an income.
If a man didn’t have a horse, he had to walk where he needed to go.
Calling to his neighbor , who could have been a mile away, was the method of communication between friends. They set up systems to communicate over distances in those days. One holler could mean all is well, and two could mean someone is sick, while two short and one long could have meant to send help immediately. The ringing of a church bell could have called people to an emergency meeting. In today’s world we can set up an emergency meeting with one text.
And the people in the meeting could be at opposite ends of this planet. There is no way that our forefathers could have predicted all of these changes in our quality of life would come about. The camera had not even been invented.
Today we have cameras in orbit around the earth that can photograph in detail people on the ground. Everyone has a phone that can be tracked, so if you are wanted, they can find you, as long as you have your phone on you. There was no escape from the heat, and the only warmth in winter was an open fire.
People chopped wood with an ax to build a home. Or either they had enough slaves and knowledge, or access to an architect, that they could build a big house with lumber and bricks or stone. This same government that has allowed mankind to excel so rapidly, is now starting to slow us down, and hold us back. We need an amendment. Or maybe even several. We can’t allow fact and fiction to take up positions on opposite ends of our political parties. This is the legacy of the Trump presidency. But it was already happening before Trump started his campaign. It is because of lies, and political power through monetary gains, that Donald Trump was able to fool a nation of people into thinking that he is educated enough to qualify for the job of President of the United States of America.
We have 70 million people in our nation who believe that he is qualified, and they also believe his lies over the facts of science, and investigative reporting.
Who will step up to the plate, and come up with the ideas that we need for our government and our society and communities to allow for us to advance alongside the advances of science and technology, inventions and discovery.
We need some changes so that Trump can never become president again, and neither can anyone else like him. If Trump was on the Continental Congress in 1776, he would have been laughed out of the room. They knew that our president had to be educated. And they knew the difference between truth and facts.
Although they didn’t have the advances in science and technology to be able to comprehend some of the Facts that they didn’t know about. In this day in time, the son of a wealthy man can buy his education and run for office and win. We should have a standardized test that someone has to pass before they are allowed on the ticket to run for office. It is obvious that Trump doesn’t understand our laws, and he believes that it is OK to break them when it is profitable for him to do so. He even believes that if he tells a lie enough times, that it will become true. At least he has taken one lesson from history. But it is not enough for him to qualify for the job of president.
He has brain washed half the country. It will probably take at least eight years to rebuild what he has destroyed.
Maybe we can build it back better. But we need to at the very least rebuild it back up the way it was,
    Before fantasy became facts.

  12. Oh great! The biggest backer of the race based Electoral College being humanized as being a “not so bad guy” even though his actions says otherwise. Amazing how certain sins committed by certain people can easily omitted!

  13. Wow. So, he was correct in understanding that human nature needed to be held in check. Who would’ve thunk it? Do you think he’s sitting somewhere with Thomas Jefferson admonishing him and saying he was right. That we, as Americans, need to have checks and balances.

  14. Congratulations to the new President Joseph R. Biden on your great victory!
    Note:

    Dear!
Biden elected 46th president of the United States

Biden widens electoral vote lead over.
With his victory in Georgia, President-elect Joe Biden has won a total of 306 electoral votes, flipping five states in the process .

    Presidential Election Results: Biden Wins
Joseph R. Biden Jr. was elected the 46th president of the United States on Nov. 7. Mr. Biden defeated President Trump after winning Pennsylvania, which put his total of Electoral College votes above the 270 he needed to clinch the presidency.

    Thanks
