@LP Work unemployment is at an all time low, there’s a growing job market, we bounced back from the Covid job loss with incredible speed, the number of new businesses and business owners is increasing, the Inflation Reduction Act just passed, largest investment in green energy, and a massive infrastructure investment… yeah, I’d vote for that again.
I don’t see the big problem. They want to be in America so this is a great chance and Texas already has a high abundance of migrants so I will figure any state that gets a high amount would like to space it out a little bit. Especially since they take more migrants x100 compared to most states. So it’s not like you can say they don’t like immigrants.
Yeah….because NYC doesn’t get a lot of migrants… 🤣

Homelessness is a segmented problem. Some are those who lost their jobs and could use help with that. Those who cannot help themselves could use some help and funding. You can’t do much with laziness or criminals.
The irony is that not all of these people will find work and will add to homeless problem. Check your local park. And thank God none of these people have criminal backgrounds
@ᕙ Ya that’s a problem, Especially if you have health issues, overweight, the wrong diet, diabetes, high B.P. ect. drugs and Alcohol, which effect motivation, if treated, they could probably do better and some have a bad situation for the high cost of living, ya but I would say mostly they feel just free not to work, becouse, I never notice a bunch of migrants living on U.S. streets, only maybe temporary for migrant holding areas, but not voluntarily, many can go with family and start working

@ᕙ Also adding to my other comments, many I would think have had traumatic experiences in there life, not all people succumb to that, but the ones who do and start using alcohol and drugs to cover there pain is a big mistake, it can warp there mantel state, you cant always just say “snap out of it”, or change the station, its not that easy

Ukraine will keep it or Russian will be able to get it back like it was before Cruscow handed it over as a gift to Ukraines because so many labour came over to russia and worked for Russia in the middle of the 20th century – but when Sea level rise is coming the lovely Crimea land will drown into the sea and this whole WAR IS ABSOLUTLY for nothing – so you really start a war for a Land that will not exist anymore in 100 years?

So, I better get the resources I need from this damn government!! I’m Indigenous national who’s also a Navy disabled vet. Last time I tried to get help, I got the run around n had $60 taken from my disability check because a nurse prescribed meds that I didn’t even ask for!!😡😡 I get screwed over by my government but they let in foreigners,who will get access to all kinds of resources and housing?!? And they wonder as to why our country is in high debt , homelessness, high unemployment, high mental health issues who are walking the streets harming people! Damn joke.😒

You need a political party and representation. Our government is switching to duel leadership. First peoples and those that built the country up. In the case of the US it might actually reduce corruption.

If we had adequate border policies we wouldn’t be dealing with this massive migration. The only focus point of Gov. Abbot being the villain however no one wants to see the stress and costs of hosting the multitude of migrants onto Texas. Democrats want the border open, then be kind enough to provide shelter for the migrants. I’ve traveled to central and South America and seen the level of poverty and disparity and anything in the USA is better then Remaining in certain places. I hope one day we can provide this kind of aid and assistance to homelessness,poverty, crime ridden areas in the US instead of investing billions on migrants.

Yes, I too believe in looking for a better life. But I also believe we have homeless and military vets among other citizen, that need our government too take care of them as well. Let’s start here first, and then help other help themselves.

Thanks Gov. Abbott, LOL, for providing this much needed service to these immigrants to get where they want to go in America so they can start their lives, find work, and support their families. There’s a severe labor shortage in the service industries for restaurants, hotels, construction, agriculture, food processing and fast food services. Jobs Americans don’t want to do. Immigrants will fill those positions and keep the economy going and hopefully will create a better future for themselves and their families.

hay amigos is good to hear from you again. I decided to go to DC. The bus ride was great. I was given a brand new phone. And plenty to drink. And plenty to eat. But best is that mayor Bowser gave me a job at her house and a lot of food stamps for as long as I want them AND free medical care forever. They even gave me cash. They are treating me better than they do veterans who have fought and died for this country for generations. GOD BLESS AMERICA. My cousin is doing good in New York to and all over.
Just don’t tell the State Government that their pressure tactics have turned into a Social service; or they’ll cancel the plan right away.
