    1. @Mondo Parra No, thank you. I’ll continue to watch media just to get who their sources are and go to the source. Something you obviously never do.

    2. Hahaha they have no case and they know it, and so does anyone with more than a few brain cells to rub together.

    3. @aarqa Nervous? Try entertained. These clowns have been trying for six years straight to pin something on him, and THIS is the best they can do? It’s embarrassing.

  1. Wait one minute… There were how many Republicans and people who refused to comply with the congressional subpoena. At this point that’s the standard if you don’t want to you don’t have to and what are they going to do? Prosecute you? Well, isn’t that ironic?

  2. Wait…WTF, did he just say they’re tired of meddling with federal elections? 😂 WOW 😳

    1. New Yorkers pay Alvin Bragg. I’m sure this guy isn’t concerned about NY’s taxes and how they are spent.

  3. Could you imagine if DAs went to congress to explain their charges everytime? No meddling there.

    1. Correct. Just like “We are pro police.. except when we are not”. Maggot 101 for beginners.

  4. From now on, I think everyone who is ever committed of any crime, including traffic tickets, should claim that they are running for office, and that it’s a political witchhunt

    1. People with guns shouldn’t be doing traffic patrols. It’s uncivilized

  5. Great job Tapper.. keep it up. Too many of your colleagues let them spit out their talking points and get away with it with no rebuttal

    1. @Stephen Holtom while Tapper didn’t get anything wrong, he definitely didn’t call him out on the majority of his BS and it is important that journalists do so, each and every time, because when they don’t, some of the idiots message resonates and furthers our issues.

    2. @ITSMEAMC I would say he did a decent job, this was definitely a “hostile” interview, by American standards.
I’d also say that your quote was largely irrelevant here, as you’re not even claiming Tapper is “explaining the world to us” nor “getting it wrong”.

    3. @Stephen Holtom I made no quotes, so not sure what you are referring to. I didn’t say Tapper provided no push back, but rather it was not enough.

    4. @ITSMEAMC ah. Because you answered the question I put to colonizing, I thought that’s who I was talking to. Just misunderstanding

  6. Jake got him at the end about Jim Jordan defying to testify when he himself was Subpoenaed by the Jan 6th Committee…Comer was rather quiet at the end!!😂😂😂

  7. NYS Law, the Statute of Limitations can be suspended for up to 5 years if the person they’re investigating moves out of NYS, his 4 years in the White House PAUSED it for 4 years.

    1. Presidents and vice presidents are necessarily counted as residents of the state they were in prior to election, for constitutional reasons. Trump changed his residency from New York to Florida in September 2019.
The suspension of the statute of limitations definitely applies after that date, but only maybe applies before that date. I have a hunch there is no settled precedent on that.

  8. You could literally see the squeaky wheels in Comer’s head turning to try to answer “He’s investigating state crimes…”

    1. Bragg made it a federal crime it’s the only way he could bring a charge, the state charge is past limitations which has been dropped my the DOJ a few years ago.

    2. @laylaHe doesn’t need any federal statutes. Violations of any one of: N.Y. Elec. Law §14-126, N.Y. Elec. Law §17-152 or N.Y. Elec. Law §17-168 in combination with falsification of business records would elevate it to felony.

    3. @layla the statute of limitations was extended due to covid. Maybe look into things before you comment?

    1. Agreed. You can even see Comer laugh at the end after Tapper makes that comment. He recognizes his own level of bullshit and knows how stupid it is.

  9. I really love how he keeps saying “he Is a Former President” as in because he is our cult leader, he is NOT ALLOWED to get in trouble

    1. Right? Tell that to koresh. That didn’t work out so well. But so coincidental that trump kicks off his campaign in Waco on the anniversary of that event no less. Disgusting. Tacky. Inciting. Pathetic.

  10. Translation: We want this to be viewed as a federal responsibility – even if that doesn’t apply to this scenario – so we can be sure that it goes absolutely nowhere.

  11. I almost choked when he brought up Comey’s Hillary presser. Last I check R’s lapped that up when it happened. It’s actually hilarious the hypocrisy 😂

  12. ” We believe he should explain what he is investigating”. That is what an indictment is 🤡

  13. They’re all about limited federal power, until a state actor does something they don’t like, then they’ll have a tantrum and leverage whatever power they can.

    1. @Neon Nights I gave you a reply but I wanted to say I appreciate you asking the question in an objective manner instead of just going off about the orange man. I attempt to remain as objective as possible and levy criticism to anyone that takes up the mantle of leadership, as they should be looked at critically. I have really lost faith in both sides. At this point we’re just trying to preserve what’s left of our country. Trying to give people a chance to have a bit of a good life before it all hits the fan completely. I think we’re past the point of saving what’s left of this great country. The system is based on money, lobbying, and holding on to power. Completely rigged against having a candidate of integrity. In my 50 years I have always had to vote for the lesser of two evils and I can’t name one candidate I got to vote for that was truly one with integrity that wanted to represent the American people. Quite a shame that we can’t come together and represent an independent or alternate party candidate that is in it for the right reasons. But that’s what money and power does to human beings And with the propaganda machine going on between the government, large corporations and their putting money into what sales instead of what’s right, and the media, we have a young generation of complete sheep waiting to be angry that will eat every bit of it up with a spoon, completely ignore history and the fact that it always repeats itself, and ignorantly think that human beings have progressed beyond some point that they won’t continue to do what they always have. It’s a sad scene
