Dear Friends and Nationals:
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year.
By now you are all aware of the disastrous effect the latest weather trough had on our island home, Dominica, and the extensive damage that resulted, greater than $45M EC in infrastructure repair and restoration. While the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica has provided significant assistance and is working on rebuilding, approximately 50 households in Castle Comfort, Newtown, Kingshill, Citronier, Gutter Village, Loubiere, Bath Estate and Pointe Michel remain in need of basic relief items.
