    3. Doug E I’ve only seen one person go completely crazy from drugs; his was cocaine addiction. I don’t know if that was the only thing wrong with him, but It was like he had a psychotic break. He was one of the most awesome people I knew who turned into a monster, almost overnight. That is how drastically his personality changed. I don’t believe Tr*mp has ever been worth anything. He’s always been a POS & his possible misuse of drugs can’t be a good thing for our country.

    1. @Nemo Krada because the whistleblower complaint, if you read it, contains more than the content of the phone call….but also the context.

      Such as the timing and reason for the money being withheld from Ukraine ahead of the call and making the money available contingent on “playing ball” with what the President wants…which he asked as a favor in the phone call.

      But, for the most part, you’re right, the whistleblower was just the tip of the iceberg.

      Also at play is a series of text message brought to Congress by former Special Envoy Kurt Volker between the US Diplomat to Ukraine and the US Diplomat to the EU where statements like “As I said on the phone, I don’t agree with withholding military aid from Ukraine for a political campaign.” And, five hours later (which sources have said a conversation was had with the President) a response very pointed says “I think you misunderstand, the President wants no Quid Pro Quo. Let’s stop talking about this over text message.”

      This was after the same diplomat brought it up in text earlier and the guy who talked to the president replied with “call me.”

      Clearly, said guy – whom Trump has blocked from going to meet with Congress last minute – did not want a record of those conversations that the diplomat clearly felt should be clear and recorded.

      We wouldn’t even have that if the whistleblower report had not brought Volker up in the first place.

      But, the whistleblower matters enough because Congress deserves to hear the details of how the whistleblower knows what he does, so they can follow those trails to on-record testimonies.

      And this is why the Whistleblower’s identity is to be protected (aside from the fact the LAW demands it be kept secret) and why Trump can’t know, legally, at the moment that the guy is supposedly a “Strong Democrat.”

    5. @Nemo Krada It wasn’t a transcript, and it wasn’t full. It was a recreation based on memory, cleaned up before the WH released it. What he REALLY did was far worse, and many of the people listening in are aware that what he did was commit treason at that point, and they were implicated because they were in on the call.
