31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

@J Hitchcock About three years ago I was sitting at a picnic table with five other women, all friends made in my neighborhood in just the year or two prior. We were six women ranging in age from 23 to 49, all from different parts of the country, covering pretty much every socioeconomic group, black, white, Asian and Hispanic, range of careers from bar tending to academia to finance, and one friend had a newly swollen and bruised face so we were talking about what happened with her that weekend. She was beat up by an ex and in self defense in her own home grabbed a knife that she never used on him, but was still holding when the police arrived. SHE was arrested and eventually had to appear in court and was given probation even though SHE was the one assaulted in her own home. Well that conversation revealed that 100% of the women at the table had rape stories. Some multiple. One by a police officer when she was 16. It’s important we talk about it to each other and to the men we know – even if it takes us years to discuss it and we know we’ll never get legal justice. Peace to you ❤️

Not convicted of rape, and in fact the rape charges were dropped. She apparently agreed to the makeup session but she passed out. Thats his crime,
