After a 14-hour session arguing and debating to mark up the two articles of impeachment, House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said shortly after 11 p.m. that the committee would instead vote on the impeachment of President Donald Trump on Friday morning. Aired on 12/13/19.

Surprise End To Day Of Debate On Articles Of Impeachment – Day That Was | MSNBC
Full moon Friday the 13th! What a historic day! How will members on both sides be recorded in history forever?
@Poe try You have alot of delusional thought.
@David M Who are you to criticize me? I don’t have to write lies for money. I know how to spell “constitution”and know how to separate “a lot.” You need to look at your own weaknesses.
@Poe try You just lied again.
@Eazyduzit Not calling them liars, saying that they are being extorted; they know if they defy or speak against Trump he will withhold aid again and they desperately need it.
@SPZ Aruba yes but those investigations were by Republicans and don’t count on the Democrats record
It’s too bad Nadler couldn’t have cut off the Republican irrelevancy a lot sooner. They had absolutely nothing to contribute to the hearing.
They kept repeating themselves, going off topic and insulting the panel. I wished Nadler had stopped it too.
Trumpanzees are going to Trumpanzee.
The GOP who romped and cavorted for 14 1/2 hours have no one to blame but themselves.
There’s one big question I came away from the hearing with: what is Louie Gohmert doing in Congress?
Ironically, today was his fairest and most lucid day in the House. He made one valid point: you can’t impeach a president just for being arrogant. What he didn’t say was you can impeach a president for violating a 1974 reform law meant to curtail abuse of office.
@Dave Schultz Huh? You’re referring to Ambassador Sondland, awarded the EU ambassadorship for his 1 million contribution to Trump’s Inauguration; his testimony was among the 3 most damning of the situation.
@ruth depew but that’s not what the impeachment covers; there is plenty of proven culpability in both Abuse of Office (violation of the 1974 Impoundments Reform Act) and Obstruction of Congress (getting back to Dave Schultz’s comment, Sondland’s comment about he and the House not having access to his own State Department papers).
Collins needs to sit down. His temper tantrums got old a while ago.
TK Benge try the hospital channels…the fox channels are supported by the unlimited Dark Monies of Fascist GOP. Plus millions of ADS TO SERVE THE ELITE PIRATES OF THE FAUX “America”.
they go through one boohoo’er for this loser presi-dain’t after another.
Would he enjoy being spanked for being a bad boy?
I would like you to do us a favor though, please publicly announce an investigation into VP Pence flying 800 miles to stay at the Turnberry resort and also the issue of the Air Force paying top dollar for jet fuel and spending taxpayer’s dollars at Turnberry as well. The military aid will flow as soon as I hear you have announced the investigation.
Thomas Armsworthy Jr Blah blah blah.
Eazyduzit Shut up and go away.
@JBPVFL Hasn’t paid cities for his rallies, charged Scottish police$100,000 for tea and crumpets.
@savannah505 They don’t feel that a career con man belongs in the WH and he doesn’t.

AP FACT CHECK: Blue high-tax states fund red low-tax states
By STEPHEN OHLEMACHER December 9, 2017
WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican leaders have spent months promoting the myth that red low-tax states are subsidizing blue high-tax states because of the deduction for state and local taxes.
An Associated Press Fact Check finds it’s actually the other way around. High-tax, traditionally Democratic states (blue), subsidize low-tax, traditionally Republican states (red) — in a big way.
Republicans are trying to eliminate the deduction as part of the sweeping tax package working its way through Congress. They added back a deduction for up to $10,000 in property taxes, in a concession to Republicans from high-tax states such as New York and New Jersey. California Republicans are pushing to extend the deduction to local income taxes, too.
Light of day the way it should be. Dark is trump. Bring on goodness and light
…Said the darkness…
Shawn Corbin Yup Putin décides what time trump goes to bed.
Dave Schultz due process as it should be. Repulsive republicans
Angela dugal due process will be the undoing of this whole thing eventually… lol
I guess they could have had a vote a lot earlier had not certain members protracted the whole process. Hmmm.
SPZ Aruba ? The trump hid all documents and blocked all material witnesses….mob bosses often own all the judges and the money and the hit men.
@Deanna Delmar yup, the GOP sure did they were looking to stay all night with their stupid nonsensical amendments
Those “certain members (who) protracted the whole process” being of the Republican flavor.
Blah blah blah …Collins …GET OVER IT!!!
From the Russia hoax 3 year political chase crew??? Physician heal thyself!!
Collins and all those GOP members must have tiny little brains if they can’t see that a crime was committed.
@SPZ Aruba You mean that “hoax” that got 35 indictments?
@SPZ Aruba You mean that “hoax” that uncovered 10 instances of Obstruction of Justice?
Mr. Nadler, that was s PERFECT move Sir. Absolutely PERFECT.
Eazyduzit Tosser…. the crime is the misappropriation of Federal funds defined and approved by Congress
@Eazyduzit Not calling them liars, saying that they are being extorted; they know if they defy or speak against Trump he will withhold aid again and they desperately need it.
Exodus Aren’t you a POS.
CPN Eazy is a troll. He knows T did it.
Why is he but hurt about coming to work the next morning?
Nice acting. Cast him in the next movie: “Blowhard”!
JW 😭😂😂
@Emem Edem ;^D
He’s right up there with Lindsey Graham at the Kavanaugh hearing. They all deserve a mock applause.
the reason MOST of us don’t like you is that you are all NUTS in their blind support for this orange clown
I thought Halloween was in October – *where have all these **_trolls_** come from* ? Oh, yeah, right! They’re Putin’s Pesky Pokers – slightly annoying but harmless! 🤬
This is giving the GOP a taste of their own medicine. 3 decades of GOP stunts and now they’re getting a taste of it.. GO DEMS!!!!
JVS 3 so you admit it’s a stunt?… lol
Also, if they had held the vote last night when Collins demanded, the Republicans would have turned around and shrieked and cried about a “middle of the night coup, waaaaaah”
@Dustin Lynne
No, he/she was sayin’, if the shoe was on the other foot, the Republicans would be doing the same thing…stunt or not.
Collins was more upset about being told what time he had to be at work than he is about the corrupt actions of Trump!
Had they voted republicans would’ve said it was rushed lol
True; they would have whined endlessly about a ‘midnight vote”
Trump’s the Traitor and Chief, And the Commander and Thief, Now he must be lmpeached ! 😳
Impeach trump the Traitor!!
Doug Collins lost his mind , he has a MELTDOWN .
he is a meltdown
What’s unfair is the disrespect and obstruction against congress at every turn …..
How true! Screeching drama queen! Collins is an imbecile.
