Supreme Court decision sparks celebration and protests in DC | USA TODAY

The Supreme Court ruled Americans no longer have the constitutional right to an abortion, erasing a right that's been in place for almost fifty years.

The high court ruling Friday was a watershed decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision, and erased national reproductive rights that have been in place for nearly five decades. A majority of the justices held that the right to end a pregnancy was not found in the text of the Constitution nor the nation's history.

In some states across the South and Midwest, abortions will now be banned or made more difficult to access. The Guttmacher Institute, a research group that supports abortion rights, estimates 26 states are certain or likely to ban abortion.

    1. Well in that case, I hope every female Republican politician or male Republican politician’s wives and/or mistresses get blessed with pregnancy and then we’ll see just how many of them truly are pro-life by keeping that baby to term.

  3. What’s new! Whom are surprised that the majority of the Supreme Court judges voted against women’s rights to choose in which women fought for years as equal to men. No woman is against having children, no woman is against pro life, but a woman wants that right to choose, not the court nor people who are not be rearing the child, nor government influence. A child who is being born in this world 🌎🌍 is an injustice to that child who is unloved, unwanted, and unvalued because of rape and incest, but according to the judges of the Supreme Court, it’s okay. Take away the women’s rights to choose. Let the government choose for them even though a woman might have health challenges that could jeopardize her life, a woman who was raped is forced to give birth to the child, and a woman who is a product of incest is compel to have the child. Maybe 🤔 the woman needs to find the judges who were allegedly against the right to choose and let them rear the child… it’s an unfortunate and unfair decision, but I am not surprised because it was leaked of what they were doing to do. It’s the women judges that give me pause who knows the struggles, and yet the conservative woman voted against a woman’s rights to choose…now that is sad to consider that she doesn’t represent the voice of women’s rights!!!

The films are widely considered two of the most effective and technically innovative propaganda films ever made. Her involvement in Triumph des Willens, however, significantly damaged her career and reputation after World War II. Adolf Hitler was in close collaboration with Riefenstahl during the production of at least three important Nazi films, and they formed a friendly relationship.[5][6] BBC CNN MSNBC ABC CBS CNN MSNBC
