Actually your grand children will be paying because Canadian federal and provincial governments, mostly Liberal and Conservative, have been borrowing from private funds instead of from the Bank of Canada interest free to save the wealth of the rich while quietly passing the costs to future generations at compound interests. This has been happening since the 70’s, and a lot of it because you want tax cuts. Somebody has to pay the bill if you don’t, and future generations don’t get a say in the present.
