We just can let China become so rich and powerful that they own us. That they are better than us.That they can control us. That they take all our jobs and companies.
Just to clarify it: China did NOT steal the western intellectual properties (knowledge & technology)!
The western companies wanted to profit from the Chinese market and labor and China offered them a good deal – with one condition: We give you the chance to gain good profits by both selling your goods to our citizens and by manufacturing here at low labor costs. But in exchange for that we want you to share your knowledge and technology with us.
This was part of the business contracts and trade agreements because the western countries and corporations AGREED to this condition.
And now it seems that China ended up simply making the better deal there despite all those corporations making good profits.
Therefore – well, just deal with it. That’s how it is.
China is simply beating the western world by exposing the greatest weakness of Capitalism and using it in a really smart way against it: Greed.
It’s even more hypocritical than that.
Copyrights, IP, patents, etc. are all measures to restrict competition to join in on the supply side, to increase it to meet demand (if one supplier doesn’t supply as much as demand is able to pick up at cost).
If you look up the ‘free market’ definition you will find that those restrictions actually are the opposite of free markets.
The Chinese are no saints, by far, but in this case they are actually acting more free market capitalist than the ones who claim to stand for it.
