The most senior member of the Supreme Court, Justice Stephen Breyer, may be more willing than anticipated to consider a retirement before President Joe Biden leaves office. In the latest episode of The Point, CNN’s Chris Cillizza explains just how closely Democrats have been watching Breyer’s words for any hint of his plans, in hopes that his successor will be a liberal appointed by Biden.

Stuff the self imposed deadline remark. tRump set a May 1st deadline and Biden pushed it out to give more time to evaluate. He could have pushed it out till the end of the year and still there would be those waiting till the last days to leave.

The USA needs term limits for Senators, term limits for Representatives and mandatory retirement for the Supreme Court. The genius of democracy is regularly stirring the pot.
There are a lot more important things to fix in America’s flawed democracy than term limits.
Election finance laws and making gerrymandering unlawful are two examples.
