Stein: ‘A Trauma Was Inflicted On The Nation’s Capitol & The People Who Work There’ | The Last Word
May he Rest In Peace. ❤️ 🙏
No healing without accountability
Remember after 9/11 when everybody said “hey, don’t go after bin Laden, it’s too divisive, it’s time for healing?” Yeah, neither do I.
period !!!!!!!!!!!!
@MGE No different than now, when several Conservatives are saying the exact same thing, “hey, don’t go after Trump and Republicans”.
Tramp who?
No republican should be allowed in this memorial to pretend to mourn. It was their false narrative that caused these terrorists to murder this police officer. His senseless death is on their heads. Rest In Peace, Officer Brian Sicknick. This should NEVER have happened in America.
@Maximilian Houk I so admire your grieving. It shows what a sensitive person you are that you show pain at the brutal death of a fellow American. I am absolutely overcome at your caring splendor.
You probably ought take your nap now.
@Nova Site this is why there is unrest and will always be now. The left literally won’t admit the violence and damage they’ve caused. Meanwhile even Republicans denounced the Capitol riot.
@Bobbie C oh, so now a police officers life matters to you? Leftist hypocrisy is like none other
@Maximilian Houk If you have nothing to say in honor of the fallen officer, either STFU or GTFO.
@Maximilian Houk you won’t denounce Trump’s attack on the capital . quit pretending
The family of the Officer who was beaten to de.ath, along with the families of the Officers that were injured by his insurrectionists, should all sue Trump, Don jr, and Rudy. And on top of that, the U.S. Government should sue all 3 of them for the damage done to the Capitol building. American taxpayers should not have to cover the cost for that.
Not just sue, demand that felony murder charges be made against Trump & his co conspirators.
The cost of the insurrection is not just the physical damages, but the cost of weeks of increased security, the cost of all the FBI and other law enforcement investigations, and the cost of DOJ prosecutions. Everyone who spoke at that rally should learn first hand what it means to live on a minimum Social Security income. Criminal penalties may also apply.
The family can under the federal tort claims act it makes it possible to sue government employees…
WHERE IS THE CHARGES?
@David Wallace read the COMMENT again…I said it is POSSIBLE…if you researched federal torts claim act you will see there isnt charges it’s a civil matter and makes it possible to be compensated for the wrongful act or negligence of a government employee….
Thank you for your service Officer Sicknick. Your dying will not be on vain. Prayers going up for your family at home and the Capital, in Jesus name. 🙇🏾♀️
Prayers are nice. Justice is better.
On January 6, Trump’s MAGA-insurrectionists had Alqaeda and ISIS blushing with envy.
Fluttered with bashful. Second only to Bolshevik
Not really, more like laughing with tears at how short lived it was.
I know right ? ISIS and others Terrorists don’t need to come and destroy American seat of Power.just call the Lunatics of The right wing of America..last time I heard the Capitol was burn to the ground was during the British War with American by foreign ..Now we have our own country men during it.they are a disgrace
So very sad. Officer Sicknick was apparently a very good man. President Biden is working hard to restore sanity to our nation. Congress needs to help by convicting Trump. Our federal and state prosecutors and courts must prosecute Trump and his administration for their democracy-destroying crimes.
The trauma was not only on the nations Capitol, it was our representatives and our whole nation!
Our GOP has put itself in a very precarious position by not immediately dealing with the issue!
They know what they need to do!
But Deal Agreement said the otherwise.
*This is making me sick to my very soul…* 😖
Well, its time for US. and UN. to create a law or something to prevent further Authocracy.
Rest in Peace, Officer Brian Sicknick. Thank you for being a true patriot!
Who is responsible for the death of this police officer and the other officers that were injured in the seditious attack on their workplace. This is quite traumatic and tragic for the family of the policeman who died.
Deepest condolences to his family. And to those injured as well. As our poet said, “We grieve and we grow.” We took for granted our freedoms and our hero’s have paid the price. May we never forget just how close we came to losing it all. Thanks for your brave service. 💔🇺🇸
Courtesy of Donald Trump that police officer would still be alive if Trump hadn’t sent that mob down to the capital that makes you complicit n the death of a police officer I hope they throw the book and the chair at you
So incredibly sad in this moment …the death, the prompting of suicide, the trauma experienced by victims of prior violence ,that fear never goes away…
By a scum bag excuse for a president.
Rupert Murdoch, Trump and the GOP backers killed this man, along with more than 400,000 other Americans.
I want every single person who crossed that line on Jan.6 caught and prosecuted, no matter how long it takes.
Absolutely without question.
A good officer was murdered over a lie, fear and hatred.
And one man’s blind, rampant ambition.
@Jeweled Bird Not just one man. Trump is nothing without his enablers.
#45 HAS SO MUCH BLOOD ON HIS HANDS WHILE ON HIS WATCH!
FROM DAY ONE!
SAD!
Meanwhile the guy responsible for the officer’s death is out playing golf.
