Let’s just throw all the innocent people who took guilty pleas to lighten the sentence then later found out they were innocent back in prison then. You take a guilty plea if you know you cant talk your way out of it, otherwise you are staying in for a lot longer or for life.

    5. @Dave Schultz neither nomination were sufficient to lead our country, in my opinion. It was a mistake to not vote in 2016. Hilary could have been the lesser of two 😈 but we will never know. What I now know, for the importance of democracy, is to vote in 2020. No more bold face lies, racism, or division. Let feedom and liberty reign for all.

    4. @John Henry Holiday308 That is pocket change next to the loss of life (and yes, property damage too) that has been caused by right wing terrorists. I don’t condone the riots and I am not gonna defend them, but the fact is that buildings can be repaired or replaced while human lives cannot. Furthermore, a lot of damage attributed to the riots was in fact done or initiated by right wing agitators that wanted to incite a “race war” and off duty police that wanted to shift the focus of the public narrative. Look up “boogaloo bois”, for starters.

      You can’t assess a balance without both columns, and you’re clearly working with just one. Diversify your media consumption for God sake. It is not a secret that Fox and Breitbart are intentionally unbalanced. You can’t possibly think you’re getting the full picture if you limit yourself to official state TV.

  6. Another blow for Dtrump came from US District Judge James C. Mahan, who dismissed the GOP lawsuit to stop Nevada from sending out ballots to all active voters amid the coronavirus pandemic.  The judge was quoted as saying “The lawsuit lacks standing”.

  7. Stacey Abrams is the best. The only reason I am glad that Biden didn’t choose her as his running mate, is because I believe we need her hear in Georgia as governor.

    3. @Grateful Fredly she is not, but should be. Kemp was the secretary of state the year he ran for governor. He had the voting machines and anything connected to voting moved to his offices (not suspicious at all!) No one was shocked he won after that, though polls looked really bad for him at the time. Stacey was a shoe-in. Georgians in poor neighborhoods now get to stand in line for up to 8 hours to vote. The more affluent neighborhoods, however, it is under an hour if not just a few minutes.

    1. Could Trump’s statement be a plea for help? You know, like the guy on the subway platform screaming he is going to jump every time a train approaches and has to give up when the last train goes by and he leaves and threatens to return and try and kill himself the next day? Let me explain. Trump knows that there should be a mask mandate. However, the only people he is guaranteed to piss off with imposing a mask mandate are the ones that plan to vote for him because he has ridiculed mask wearing to their cheers. Trump knows this. He also knows that even though they are pig ignorant, they are also likely to turn against him and not vote if he asks them to mask up now. So if Trump can get Biden to implement the mandate then it is a win-win. In Trump’s feeble mind it does not matter that Biden is not the president. Remember, with Trump it is not how he gets what he wants, it is about that he wants what he gets.

And after the last year or so I kinda know what people of color were feeling with voter suppression.we have gerrymandering both supreme courts forced us to vote during covdids worst. Then the WI. Supreme Court tride to disrupt mail in voting.this must stop at all cost. 💨🌊🌊🌊
