At least 17 missiles were fired by North Korea, according to South Korea who retaliated with their own missile testing.

The U.S. Indo Pacific Command said the launches highlighted the “destabilizing impact” of North Korea’s illicit nuclear weapons and ballistic missile programs. The Japanese Defense Ministry said it also detected the launches and that the type of missiles used and their flight information were still being analyzed.
South Korea's Foreign Ministry said its top nuclear envoy held separate phone talks with his U.S. and Japanese counterparts soon after the launches. It said the three agreed to strengthen trilateral coordination on North Korea while repeating their calls for the North to stop weapons tests and return to talks.
Since late September, North Korea has launched a barrage of missiles toward the sea in what it called simulated tests of tactical nuclear weapons systems designed to attack South Korean and U.S. targets. North Korea says its testing activities were meant to issue a warning amid a series of South Korea-U.S. military drills. But some experts say Pyongyang has also used its rivals’ drills as a chance to test new weapons systems, boost its nuclear capability and increase its leverage in future dealings with Washington and Seoul.

#NorthKorea #SouthKorea #Missile
How did they retaliate? By firing a rocket into the ocean as well? At this point they are just wasting missles!!
@John 4:4 yes you are winning like Russia is winning against Ukraine.
@Lars Brinton well I hope they ban vehicles because people need to exercise
@codster 2100 can we ban stationary exercise vehicles while we’re at it?
@Lars Brinton totally acceptable people need to see some sun light
@John 4:4 South Korea is one one of the top purchasers of U.S. military equipment.
Those poor sea animals and fish 😢
@Osvaldo Rubalcava We don’t evolve we are created. There has never been a proven case for evolution. You think we survived being babies and born from no parents feeding ourselves and staying warm all alone? The hen came before the egg and you need to wake up. Think about what you are saying, it’s just foolish.
Exactly, it’s like some body does something to you that you don’t like and you go kick the dog in retaliation.
@MAN!C im cool with that because PEOPLE have a choice. animals, fish, sea life etc….DONT.
@Gordon Calhoun if they didn’t choose to evolve that’s on them lol jk
I guess firing missles in the ocean is equivalent to going to your room and punching a pillow when you’re mad 🤣
Good analogy! Such dangerous times
@David Whitten Not quite, those missiles wouldn’t have to enter US air space. But if one did hit California, that would be the end of Russia.
@Cyril VanKeirsbelk Russia possesses a total of 5,977 nuclear warheads as of 2022, the largest stockpile of nuclear warheads in the world; the second-largest stockpile is the United States’ 5,428 warheads.
@David Whitten It’s not how many they have, it’s how many they can deliver. Based on the condition of their other military assets it is unlikely that they can deliver a significant portion of those warheads… and there is a strong possibility that they will not function if delivered. Also, an attack on the US activates NATO, Russia can’t even handle Ukraine. If no one uses nukes they will be crushed in a matter of weeks. If they do use nukes they will be crushed in a matter of minutes.
@Cyril VanKeirsbelk about 1600 that can reach the US in 30 minutes. Slower aircraft and subs would hit hours and days later.
Ocean is looking at us like da fuq I do?
@Suave Soto Tsunamis? Great comment!!!
I came to the comments for this
🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣 awesome
😆😆😆
Now PETA is going to retaliate because neither country indicated no animals were hurt during the firing of these missiles.
World madness is about to proliferate
To all the people laughing because they launched missiles into the ocean. That’s not the point, the point is that they are trying to see what they can get away with without retaliation.
“Retaliated” is the last word I really wanna see in a headline in 2022 to be honest
@Sara wishful tree-huggers.
Exactly 😂
Unless its against the covid lockdown/jab/global cabal. I’d be for that
Real
@Undead Skill I guess idk how they can be like that dumb
I have no idea why they are showing these particular clips of airplanes, there are 4 F-16’s, a F-22 and F-15. The munitions are also all different, so this is probably stock footage.
Give it a break would ya
With all that is happening, at some point, some where on this accursed planet something big is going to happen and everyone will say:”Oh No!!!”😳
Or, perhaps, “finally”.
Propaganda
If North Korea uses a nuke China will immediately phone the United States China wishes to overtake the United States as a world superpower by 2050 in order for them to do this they have to survive that long that means China is not for nuclear war nor is the United States if North Korea nuked South Korea China will back off and they will let America do whatever we want to North Korea as long as we don’t station troops in North Korea in which case we will most likely Divide North Korea into separate parts one Chinese one Western kind of like what we did to Germany after World War II or Korea as it is currently today
Slow-roll climate change, will end most of us…
@Rick Doran Probably not most, but a lot. The inevitable wars over resources like water and food that are negatively impacted by CC will end nearly everyone.
Is it that time a year again.
Not to sound cold but, “If you haven’t laughed at it you haven’t defeated it.”
This is like an annual event for these guys sometimes biannual °~•.☆.•~°
The devil’s birthday festivities from October 31 surely went wild
I guess you’re right 👍❣️
Hello beautiful how are you doing
@I reign supreme Whoa, shouldn’t have skipped your electroshock therapy session today 😧 Halloween is the devil’s holiday? Yikes, reschedule your appointment, please 😬
Dumped $1 mil into the ocean, that’ll show em
A show of force is the best way to dissuade further aggression. It did show them.
@yang paan North Korea launched 17 missiles. South Korea only launched 3. So if it was a show of force the North Korea obviously won that.
Fire missles at the ocean… and I thought Starbucks was a waste of money smh
Mom: if you friend jumps off a bridge you gonna follow him
South Korea: not our friend but yes 💀
Nemo was just swinging along looking for Dory and fell victim to the retaliation
Underrated
As a student of history, I’d argue that this, among other caustic recent events, could be seen as catalysts for global war.
But as a child of the 21st century, where we’re dealing with factors never before considered and everything is unprecedented, I honestly don’t know what to conclude from it all.
Keeps me up at night, though.
@ducc Scripturally, there are precursorS, an obvious one will be the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem.
@Nigel Wether or not one studies human history, paleontology, paleoanthropology, or cellular biology, cosmology, there’s only one common thread. If you all are as intelligent as you believe, then what is that common thread of existence?
@J. Kincaid I’m not making any deep claims. I’m saying that the material conditions we are seeing in Korea are nothing new.
@Nigel That my friend is a complicated reprisal best left to history, as many historians may attest: History is written by the victory and not the defeated.
“Rocket man” is a threat like a match is to a forest fire…
Throw water on him and he’ll calm down.
@J. Kincaid Okay nerd
This is scary however it’s also important to note that this is something North Korea does almost every time a new leader is elected in South Korea
Aah, now this explains it!
@Bekzadbek Nasirakhunov News sites want views, so they exaggerate and omit information to create more tension.
“Quickly retaliated” by also sending three rockets into the middle of the ocean😂😂
Ocean surrenders!
Sad record for missiles, I’d thought they could hit something, I guess not.
I love the idea that both North and South Korea are just secretly fighting sea monsters but the news cant get out so they just act like their pointlessly shooting missiles into the ocean. Lol
Real life Godzilla
You sir have won the internet for me today. Great comment.
Makes perfect sense 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Hulk smash!
of course ! sea monsters,
that’s it. good point.
This is common. North Korea has “accidentally” fired at Korean naval vessels as well and in retaliation the South Koreans will do a show of force along the border as was done here. It’s easy to forget this is still technically a war zone and that peace in this region is only due to a ceasefire. This is just meant to be a warning same as it always is.
The ironic part is that the only thing keeping the North Koreans from getting curb stomped at this point is the CCP
