The EPA was all over Silverstien about the asbestos in the buildings and knew it would take more to refurbish them than build new one’s. I often wonder how involved our own government was iin the event, who planted the charges and why they felt this was the thing to do? Thousands have died because of these people’s actions and apathy and are still dying today. We do know that Mueller was key to the coverup but, many more were involved.

What a tragedy! I was 18 when 9/11 happened. Ironically, our graduating yearbook photo (not individual pictures) was taken when the planes were still in the air. According to the maps, one of those planes flew directly or nearly directly overhead at some point (in WV. The one that hit the Pentagon). I remember walking into my music class and everyone watching the news. At the time, only one plane hit the tower. People were saying it was an accident. Then the second plane hit. It was terrorism! Watching those two towers fall, witnessing 1000s of people die on live TV still effects me to this day. I’m getting tears in my eyes just writing this. During lunchtime, I went home to be with my family because I didn’t know what was gonna happen. Figured WW3 was about to begin.

Is hard to not cry hearing this incredible man Luis Alvarez testified speaking what he really wanted and that he never got the chance to see it for himself but in his honor it did rest easy CHAMP you’re a hero to everyone that you touch with your speech god bless you .

Never forget, that on 9/11, just hours after the towers fell, Trump bragged to local TV station WWOR, that his building 40 Wall Steet, was now the tallest building in downtown Manhattan. On a day of such unimaginable loss and tragedy, Trump seemed to be more focused on the bragging rights of now having the tallest building in Manhattan. But in true Trump fashion, his boast about having the tallest building in Manhattan after the towers fell was a big lie. The nearby 70 Pine Street building is 25 ft, taller than Trump’s.
Trump also lied about losing 100 friends on 9/11. To this day, he has not been able to name one friend he lost on 9/11.
During a July ceremony in the Rose Garden to formally sign a bill that will extend the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund through 2092, Trump told a group of more than 60 first responders that the legislation “provides pensions for those who are suffering from cancer and other illnesses stemming from the toxic debris they were exposed. Many of those affected were firefighters, police officers, and other first responders. ”He then told an outrageous lie when he said, “I was down there also, but I’m not considering myself a first responder. But I was down there—I spent a lot of time down there with you.”
Trump wants to claim victim status too it appears. He can’t stand to see anyone other than himself being viewed as a victim. Once again, Super Narcissist had to make it all about him.
Trump has told similar egregious lies about his whereabouts on 9/11 in the past. On the campaign trail on April 18, 2016, in Buffalo NY, he said: ” Everyone who helped clear the rubble – and I was there, and I watched, and I helped a little bit.”😲 Super Narcissist strikes again.
There is no evidence that Trump participated in recovery efforts, there’s also no evidence he spent time near ground zero in the week following the attack.
During a 2015 rally, Trump claimed he watched the 9/11 attacks from a window in Trump Tower.
“Many people jumped and I witnessed it, I watched that,” he said.
There’s just one problem — Trump Tower is more than four miles away from ground zero.
But who knows, maybe Trump was trying to receive money from the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund for his poor injured eyes, and the horror that they witnessed.

That poor man. It’s incredibly sad to see the 2 pictures of him (before 9/11 and his last days). I cannot imagine how much he suffered. Just breaks my heart. LUIS ALVAREZ is a true HERO and will never be forgotten. All the first responders on 9/11, those who fought and those who lost their lives fighting, are all HEROES!
