That man won 4 straight times before he died in office, and he helped the nation get through the great depression and WW2, making America the richest nation on earth and the world’s de facto superpower ever since.

Gabbard quit a leadership post in the DNC to support Bernie in 2016. Smerconish knows that but doesn’t let it influence his analysis. Calling Bernie the front runner is just acknowledging an undeniable fact. Occasionally MSM pundits have to acknowledge facts to maintain any semblance of credibility. Btw both Gabbard and Yang will probably endorse Bernie long before the convention.

David Sargent Bernie won the popular vote in both states. After Hillary lost democrats whined about the electoral college and how she won the popular vote. Saying she should be president. They have done it in past losses as well to republicans. You can’t have it both ways. Bernie won both states using the same metric they have been arguing for.

The moderate Democrats have less faith in Sanders beating Trump than the Trump campaign itself, because they realize Sanders will demolish Trump in the Presidential election. Trump himself has stated the Social Democratic platform will be hard for him to beat, because it supports the people and not only the rich, as his Autocratic Republican government does. The DNC NEEDS to hear what the other side is most worried about and less about working to maintain their “Moderate” stance that lost the last election.
