Amazon PROUDLY announces they pay zero % tax, but Google, Youtube, Facebook, all of them do the same. Last time I looked, Apple paid 0.015% tax.

Taxes are on profits and not stock value. Between 2012 and 2015 made no profits, they can deduct those losses from future profits. they had 12billion in profits in 2019.
In 2018, Amazon paid $0 in U.S. federal income tax on more than $11 billion in profits before taxes. It also received a $129 million tax rebate from the federal government.
Amazon’s low tax bill mainly stemmed from the Republican tax cuts of 2017, carryforward losses from years when the company was not profitable, tax credits for massive investments in R&D and stock-based employee compensation.

Many people working from home are saving more money than they did traveling to work. They save on gas, clothes, etc. In addition, with the pandemic, people are not going on vacation, traveling, etc. So the money they would have spent on those activities, they spend shopping online instead.
