The dinner at the Taj Mahal Hotel was hosted by Micha-Rose Emmett, managing director of the legal firm. The event was attended by who’s who of Delhi, including Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment Vijay Sampla and his wife.
Skerrit spoke about the investment opportunities in his country, besides the establishment of the Indo-Dominica Chamber of Commerce. The aim of this body is to facilitate trade, commerce, tourism and industrial relations between the countries, he added.
The Chamber will also aim to advance education and skill development programmes, and to promote Dominica’s Citizenship by Investment Programme.
The Chamber’s executive members include Ashwani Kumar and CS Global Partners among others.
