    1. @James Redic naahhh…we are proving most of us are a bunch of panicky scared 🐑🐑🐑🐑…and they know it by now…

    2. @Bruce DaBuc maybe the 60 to 70% is but that remnant can be just as dangerous. Never underestimate that.

    1. @Twig Spinner) { raises an eyebrow} Ooookay, I think someone had put something in your drink. I see no meaning or point in your incoherent statement although from your tone I’d guess you might be a a salty Trumpist Republican that finally realized that, even though this fact is a few months old, that the criminal Snowflake-in-Chief, Donald John Trump, has been Impeached but not removed due to a Senate show trial #MoscowMitch had organized where, unlike every trial held even including Richard M. Nixon’s Impeachment, due process was absent as every legitimately issued Subpoena to four key first-hand witnesses that Jim Jordan was screaming hysterically for during the hearings where Gordan Sondland rat on Trump by naming quote: “Everyone in the loop” during his testimony in the House.

    2. @may wilson oh please, with all the ways fraud and abuse in government you’re going to sit there and try to tell me there is no freeloaders getting government assistance

    3. @Sheik Yo Booty WHY ARE YOU CRITICIZING PEOPLE? YOU THINK PEOPLE LIKE OR INTENTIONALLY BECOME HILLBILLIES? TOOTHLESS? OR ON FOOD STAMPS? YOU DO NOT THINK CORRUPT, GREEDY GOVERNMENT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEIR SITUATION? THINK AGAIN….YOU MIGHT BROADEN YOUR THINKING IF YOU RESEARCHED PEOPLE IN THIS SITUATION…

    1. @Adam Rest China lied about the severity of the Wuhan Flu and silent ed whistleblowers who tried to warn the World with violence and imprisonment… should the US act like China and do the same?

    2. @Democrat The Party Of Slavery China did no such thing. It just failed to take seriously one doctor warning of the severity of the virus, who later died of the same disease. After that it took all necessary measures to ensure the safety of their densely populated citizens. Even the WHO is quoting China as an example of how to deal with the pandemic.
The US silences or ignores people all the time, just look at all sorts of scientists warning about climate and health issues. US also imprisons and tortures whistleblowers pointing out the administration’s and military’s criminal conduct. The US factually lied about coronavirus deaths, labelling them “flu deaths”, and there were several thousand “flu deaths” reported, as testified by the CDC director Robert Redfield.
The “native” Americans did fight back and were genocided. Up to 100 million killed.
Amazon paid no tax, because of the Republican tax cuts of 2017.
What else you got propaganda bot? lmao

    3. @Democrat The Party Of Slavery Given your previous misleading (or your ill informed) comments, including “black population… on welfare since… the Republicans ended slavery” I’m inclined to doubt your assertion about the percentage of black welfare recipients. You LOSE ALL CREDIBILITY when you try to act like Trump.

    4. @William H Music 2020 What does the sexual orientation of ‘liberal males’ have to do with anything in this discussion?? If you’re just dying to comment… at least try to be relevant.

    5. @Democrat The Party Of Slavery Sure! Corporations not paying taxes is “smart” (according to Trump) so why should the government use the money of hardworking, tax paying people (who actually contribute to the coffers) to ‘bail out’ tax avoiding big business? Answer THAT question before trying to talk about Dems on welfare. There are plenty of Republicans on welfare too bud! Bloody hypocritical Republican reasoning on display!!!

    1. @Joe Paleface “why you can’t stand him” who writes like that? You sound like one them there illegals.

    2. @Joe Paleface Orange fecal stain is going to jail along with his whole family. He made rich republicans lose money.

    3. @Joe Paleface Who votes for Trump? Rural America over 65 in the middle of nowhere collecting their Socialist Security checks and with their free health care. Wow what hypocrites.

    4. @Boyd Hating somebody doesn’t make them quilty,if any body is going to jail it will be Obama and Clinton.Trumps daughter will one day be pres,.Grow up and stop getting brainwashed by people who could cares less about you

  1. The little guys are about to get screwed. Executives are about to get a huge bailout, plus promotion packages and bonuses.

    1. Busta We outnumber the rich someday they should watch out— all their money won’t save them. Remember all the revolts in history.

    2. @Ann McNeal Ann it’s hard for me to believe you didn’t know that Democrats support LGBTQ 🤔

    1. @Rick Garcia They employ millions of Americans that Americans subsidizes, which means Americans are employing them as well.

    2. @Joe Paleface I think Republicans should return the money. They are so againstgovernment handouts. They complain about it constantly. You don’t want to go against all your beliefs by taking a government handout now do you?

  2. Yes. Deduct their ‘stock buybacks’ first. They should have saved the money for a rainyday, instead they gave it to themselves in greed.

    1. But then trump, mnuchin, and the rest of the crew down the line who did this shtik with the 2008 housing crisis can’t believe how easy this is

    2. Yes they do they have insurances policies, they have to discern big corporations they have to have insurance they have to insure themselves they have to have a cushion in case their businesses don’t go so well. It’s the small businesses and the people that are getting hit the hardest. Obama helped the big corporations. Big mistake and they left the little people out ridiculous. I’m glad President Trump is thinking about us, Donald Trump please don’t leave me behind.🙄

  3. Is this even a real question? Of course there should be strings attached… We have seen that if we don’t attach strings they will just misappropriate the funds.

    1. @James Thomson
      Ha! Yes, she does.
She is a woman among women, a rare treasure.
      Be still, my heart!

    1. @Gorky D I’m fine with that. No government money to bail out corporations. Corporations as people to pay tax at the same rate as everyone else.
No dividend tax credits no capital gains exemptions, no mortgage deductibility. Flat tax to pay for all the services that we need government to provide.

    2. @James Thomson Corporations already pay taxes as people. The reason corporate tax is lower in specific situations is due to incentives and deductions. If the corporation does the government’s job for it they get incentives and pay less corporate taxes. If the corporation has spent money on purchases (paying sales tax), services (goes to another corporation’s revenue), or payroll (taxed as employee income) they pay less corporate taxes. This scheme discourages corporations from saving profit for a rainy day because anything additional to expenses/incentives gets the additional corporate tax rate (up to 35% in the US). This is why most corporations stay nearly unprofitable every year after taxes, fees, and expenses. Most of them are hugely in debt, using debt for large expenses and unexpected expenses rather than saving profit which will get taxed. And they’re measured more by growth than by actual profit. The trade-off is that the government, which collects taxes on any excess income, must respond to support corporations in times of crisis otherwise all that tax collection is a scam that takes money from the economy for no reason.

    3. @Gorky D If the government needs it let the government run it. We don’t let corporations run the army or the courts or any of the other things you say we need government for.

    1. He considers Wahwee is unfairly backed by the Chinese government but loves to support failing American enterprises!

    2. @rcpmac They have been bailed out enough times already! Why are we expected to save for emergency, but they are not? It’s more than unfair, it’s crazy!

  4. No bail out for the cruise industry! Floating malls with casinos who pay little in federal taxes!

    1. Trump and Pence have made it very clear they are going to do exactly that. They will bail out the cruise industry before they bail out American workers. Shades of Obama all over again.

    2. If they hate paying their fair share of taxes, then they should not benefit from the benefits – simple. What if Boeing goes bust? There is a perfectly good alternative European aircraft manufacturer to replace them with.

    1. @Joe Mixon sadly yes since those two are good friends with our supreme leader who is great in every single way like banging a pornstar.

    2. Trump Mitch and Barr are American heroes saving America.Trump keeps winning. It’s fake media that doesn’t like him and the only people that says he is a failure. He is a billionaire and made it to become President. That is the definition of success

    1. If the federal government does implement corporate bailouts and loans, then one can only hope they are smart enough to get Warren Buffett to negotiate the terms on behalf of the taxpayers. Warren always makes great deals for Berkshire and he has made many of these deals before. He is a guy who actually could make great bailout/loan deals for the taxpayer. Dumb Donald and Foreclosure King Munchin will just give away money to corporate america and leave us taxpayers holding the bag yet again. Get Warren on our side, and the taxpayers will actually benefit (instead of lose) this time around.

  5. Funny that when it comes to Medicare for all they ask how are we going to pay for it. But when it comes to bailing out huge businesses we always seem to find the money. And people cheer as they get pennies on the dollar.

    1. @M Hussain I think if there was a system of checks and balances where people got penalized for doing things that went against the public interest it would be less motivated to do so. I think this is the thing will need to do in the future in regards for big businesses.

    2. @Gorky D
That is an unabated argument (discussion) going on for ever. Whatever system of governance or economics (capitalist or socialist) if it disregards collective welfare and wellbeing will always be questioned of its integrity and its potential sustainability.

    3. @M Hussain well when it comes to paying taxes we don’t all pay taxes. Since the wealthiest of us can have tax havens where they Store their money overseas. As for tax money I wanted to go towards things that are for the betterment of society. Like roads and infrastructure which we have a ranking of D. Healthcare and education. Also police departments and prisons. We have seen what happens when we privatize certain industries. Like how the fire department used to be privatized. And the mess that is privatize prisons.

    4. In all affairs, now and then, it is a healthy thing to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted.

    1. @Ishmael Cato The virus has fast tracked corporations to make the govt beholden to them. We are screwed no matter who is potus.

    2. Ishmael Cato Or you just need to get some skills and stop thinking the government is going to give you a bunch of freebies. I’m betting you spend more time playing video games than working on your career skills.

  6. Wrong question: Should corporate bailout have strings?

Right Question: why are corrupt corporate bailouts a thing?

    1. @may wilson how is working people taken advantage of? They agree to the wage, benefits, leaves before they are employed with the company. Now, if the company doesn’t pay employees what was agreed to, then that company is in trouble by the government. So you tell me, how is working people taken advantage of, if the corporation is the entity that is giving them job and wages for then to survive and feed family. If working people are being taken advantage of, why don’t they leave the corporation and start their own business?

    2. @may wilson who are you to say CEO`s earning, bonus, etc should be limited? Lol For example, a CEO of a big company may earn million, but because of his leadership and management skills, the company profit is in hundreds of millions of dollars. When the company does well, it can hire more people, issue contracts to small businesses, and eventually help the economy. If CEO is not competent, the company loses profits, leading to firing employees, etc. So, CEO is important for the business and country economy. Learn some accounting and economy.

    3. @T L Capitalism 101, of the poor industiralist. Sure, the worker only looses his job, his house, any means to support his family. Labor is not as transportable as capital, as we’ve seen endless times. As for Obama’s work on ending the 2008 crisis, it is laughable that you feel adequate laws were put in place to prevent it happening again. Wall Street gambles with other people’s money and gets only the benefits of that gambling, not the negative effects. Here we go again, the markets are fall from their artificial highs, and the government is scrambling to find a way to my (our) money in the hands of these gamblers to stop the damage they’ve created. It is the endless circle: capital verses labor; the powerful against the powerless.

    4. @cdjhyoung @cdjhyoung you have a socialism mindset. Your label of so-called gamblers are the initiators, starters, innovators, JOB Creators of economy. You fail to realize that or diminish the importance of it. They are the ones investing billions of dollars into the economy by building factories, production lines, infrastructure for business, All of which allows people to be employed! Your so called gamblers include Warren Buffet, Elon Musk, Ford, GM, etc. Why don’t you tell me who the Gamblers are? Also, you complain about capitalism, which country do you live in? Why dont you move to China and see how you like Communism?

  7. I always love hearing Stephanie’s passion, logic, reasoning and awareness to the facts! She’s super smart and I enjoy how she and Velshi makes sense of financial matters!

    1. MuayThai forever pay attention she’s a flipper she’s a Wall Streeter and had all her cronies on making their case as to why that money should go to them. I’m sure she’s looked at all the comments on here to know people are on to her then she flips back like she’s on our side.. watch her
