  1. Cricket West Indies should forget about Hetty and when it comes to the CPl games he should not be included

  2. There are other Guyanese players who should have been in the team, but Cricket Waste Indies is very biased to Guyanese cricketers period. “WASTE INDIES “is a total waste to international cricket.

    1. @Nathan Fritz yea Gudakesh is a great cricketer ,but Hossein is already in the team as the left arm spinner and Cariah bowling well so far .

    2. @Darendra Ramsamooj GCB needs to divorce itself from the sinking ship called CWI. Guyanese aren’t appreciated. Kanhai, Gibbs, Fredericks, Kallicharran, Croft, Sarwan, Chanderpaul, Hooper aren’t adored as the Barbadians even those mediocre Barbadians are revered above every major Guyanese international. Look Rutherford, Hemraj may never ever again represent the West Indies Motie, Permaul can’t even stay in the teams and they are the best spinners 2014-2022 in West Indies cricket. Mark these words of this prisoner of war, until and unless, people such as Chanderpaul, Ganga, Sarwan, Walsh, Ambrose and Hilbert Foster occupy lower management positions of CWI West Indies will exhibit losing cricket. Imagine grafters dominate West Indies test team yet there is never any room for Tagenarine Chanderpaul. Berbice, Demerara, and Essequebo must be given franchises in every CWI competitions while preparing to move on from CWI. The various boards must seek investors to improve cricket entertainment industry in Guyana. Perhaps, Guyana government must consult with Indian government and BCCI on methodology to improve cricket in Guyana.

    3. Charles, Lewis, and Reifer, were in the conversations. However, Haynes choices Cariah, and Cottrell are beyond rhyme and reason. Allen, Russell, Rutherford were excellent during the Sixty. Lewis and Cottrell has done nothing in recent times.

  3. CWI needs to eat the remainder of the Phil Simmons’ contract. Instead, CWI failed the “failed fitness test 5” Hemraj, Hetmyer Lewis, Narine, and Rutherford, in favor of Simmons.
Experience, names and talent don’t win matches. Performances win matches. Allen over Cariah. Seales is a better choice than Cottrell. Chamar Holder, Joseph, and McCoy are my current favorite WI fast bowlers. I root for WI 2016 U-19 players. I love winning WI cricket.
Love to see Lewis, King, Hetmyer, Rutherford, and Pooran in WI test team. Since the big idiot Dave Cameron kicked Darren Bravo out of the team in 2017; Bravo has not been himself.
One Guyanese on West Indies teams 1887-2022, has never been winning cricket. Perhaps, every African-Guyanese has African Barbadian ancestral heritage. This confounded asininity of national, island and ethnic cleavage is the root cause of the demise of winning WI cricket.
In current times, in Guyana, its ineptness and ethnic cleavage the Guyana Cricket Board trying to stifle, stagnate and undermine Hilbert Foster and the Berbice Cricket Board and their cricket development programs in Berbice.
Let’s be clear Hetmyer, Shepherd, and Sinclair (Berbice) with Hemraj (Demerara) and Paul (Essequebo) are the other Guyanese. Smith (Jamaica), Ingram, Klaasen Shamsi (South Africa), Stirling (Irish) and Tahir (Pakistan) are foreigners.
This prisoner of war love to be made aware Rutherford, Ashmead Nedd is in the Guyana cricket.
More importantly in 2023, Berbice, Demerara, and Essequebo are awarded franchisees in every CWI competition.
Berbice team would be formidable: Kevlon Anderson, Anthony Bramble*, Shimron Hetmyer, Gudakesh Motie, Veerasammy Permaul, and Clinton Pestano*, Romario Shepherd, Kevin Sinclair, Junior Sinclair, Nail Smith, Isai Thorne, and Kelvin Umrao
With two regional – Shai Hope, Brandon King and two internationals – Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Shakib Al Hasan
