We need more cops like this man
That was an example of a real sheriff, protect and serve the community. That man should run for office.
He actually is. Sheriff is an elected position and he’s running to keep his position. They decide priorities police focus on too (some can decide if they want to avoid low level drug offenses or prioritize community outreach). I believe a majority of sheriffs in the country rerun unopposed too.
