DeSantis said none were misled or misguided when approached by the contractor in Texas who was hired to “profile” those migrants most likely to want to travel to Florida. He rejected claims of critics that the Venezuelan migrants were kept in the dark about their final destination.

  1. USA Today is falling short. Super slow on the pickup and the news. Their journalists provide literally no original content of their own. And their little diddle here is like 1 minute and 15 seconds. What’s the point of the reverb from them? Why do they exist? I think the world would do fine without another news regurgitator that only exists for ads. Might as well be a rag. Maybe it is.

  2. They should be investigating whoever it is that’s letting them into our country! Not the guys who are trying to save it!

  3. Those 48 migrants were given the worlds best environment and oppurtunity. The hypocrite, rascist democrats instead of welcoming them, had the Army remove them as fast as possible 😅

  4. September 14, 2022, a date which will live in infamy. On this date the peace and tranquility of the island getaway of the rich and famous was threatened by the presence of 50 Venezuelans. Immediately, frenzied calls were placed to local, state and federal officials, the military was placed on alert. After a grueling 36 hours of hand wringing followed by hollow gestures of generosity, the ordeal ended as the military response was immediate, and the Venezuelans were removed to a distant location, thereby restoring the peace and tranquility once again. This harrowing event, lest they never forget, will be memorialized in history, monuments will be erected, holidays will be observed, and awards for heroism will be assigned

    1. New York, New Jersey, new Mexico, Merryland, California top of the list. Texas and Floroda are in there, sure but they hate immigrants or at least the vote like they do nowadays

    2. @ohad bracha Read my earlier reply, “Looks like some blue states have some catching up to do.” Why the East Coast? Why just these? Because sanctuary proclamations were made by these parts of the country, yet they appear to be hollow gestures of virtue.

    3. @221b yeah, but see the problem that California, another border town that used to be Spanish and then part of Mexico like texas. They have sanctuary policies as well. So what’s the difference? We are saying that this is a country of immigrants; we love immigrants they are building our economy. They do come here to work ( and usually do jobs that native-born Americans don’t want to do), so basically, it’s a made-up issue that the republicans want us to talk about because gas prices are down, and they are losing big-time on abortion

    1. Giuliani laughed, Powell laughed, Bannon laughed , pilliow laughed,,,the list goes on. Except they ain’t laughing anymore. Bahahahaha now I laugh.

  5. He should be investigating crimes that are committed to the legal citizens (who voted for him) forced to tolerate the influx of these people being allowed to cause hardship, strain, and drug deaths etc etc.

  6. They are not the people who voted for the inadequate border policies, why should they have to take it upon themselves the burden of the inadequate border policies? They have every right to place the burden upon those who actually voted for them. If they want such poor border policies, then they should be the ones held responsible for them. They say they want a country that is fair for everyone, yet there is nothing fair about this. If they want to solve other people’s problems in other countries, they need to start by solving our own. Obviously this asinine depiction of decision making amongst certain law makers is completely and absolutely illogical and just simply wrong. The people that made the inadequate border policies should be the ones held responsible. To that same degree and extent, there shouldn’t be two sets of rules for the elite and those who voted for them.

  7. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
    ~Matthew 25:35-40

  8. That sheriff needs to be let go and should never be allowed to work in a political or police role ever again. Literally let everyone know he’s a traitor to the county and should be dealt with swiftly. Make sure that sheriff never has a nice night of sleep every again. Play stupid games deal with the consequences.
