I was just about to say this. She won the world championships with a 10.67 not a 10.7. It’s truly amazing and I’m loving every moment. I’ve gotten so spoiled now though that waiting 2 weeks to see her run again seems like forever lol. Cheers!

Shelly has indicated in interviews her aim, one of her running spikes has 10.58 as her objective. A time she says she desperately wants to run. With that level of goal setting and drive, who would bet against her. Big up!!
She’s running fast but not relaxed, I believe she can break it if she just relaxes, she tensing up and not breathing. She the record is yours for the taking, go get it girl.

I don’t see anyone to challenge her over the 100m any time soon unfortunately elain Thompson is going to be fighting for 5 and 6th place finishes if she doesn’t sort out her coaching situation, clearly her high school assistant coach husband doesn’t have the experience or expertise to keep her at the top!!
Queen Shelly is amazing but breaking Queen Elaine’s NR of 10.54 will take some doing. ETH is the fastest living woman but Shelly may have a 10.59 in her.
