Severe turbulence rocked a flight from Phoenix to Honolulu Sunday, injuring 36 people in what an Hawaiian Airlines official called an isolated and unusual event.

Jon Snook, the airline's chief operating officer, said the airline hasn't experienced “an incident of this nature in recent history.” The flight was full, carrying 278 passengers and 10 crew members, he said during an afternoon news conference.

Jim Ireland, director of Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, said 36 people were taken to hospitals, including 11 people deemed to be in serious condition. At least one person was reported to have been rendered unconscious but all patients were awake and talking when they arrived at hospitals, he said.

  1. *Investing in crypto now should be in every wise individuals list, in some months time you’ll be ecstatic with the decision you made today.*

    1. I hope so, I think will also join but right now I can’t start with a lot of money I guess $2000 would do a try. I hope this works out like you guys said.

  2. Jesus Christ called people everywhere to repent, so if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe with all your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved and inherit the kingdom of heaven and eternal life. To this, people would accept Jesus Christ in life in their hearts and told other people how good he is, how he saves, heals and frees and gives eternal life for free 232

    1. @May it please the court The devil is the master of the world; Repent! It is an illusion you think you know the truth but you do not know the truth; People think they are so smart, they think they know more than God Jesus Christ and more than satan, they think they are woke, that is how satan control them, they are too smart for their own good, they think they are God; They think they can heal themselves, it is an illusion and that is how lucifer take them away. …. The thief devil comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I Christ Jesus have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10

    2. @Nathanael Segura Ancient old religious jewish book full of nonsense believed by lazy people who don’t research what they read. They can’t live their own lives without someone telling them how to. Devils, angels, and old holy scriptures that are so outdated it’s laughable in the 21st Century.

    3. @May it please the court Satan is the master of the world; Repent!
The god of this age (Satan) has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
JESUS SAID THAT HELL IS A PLACE OF WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH, WHERE THE WORM NEVER DIES AND WHERE THE FIRE IS NEVER QUENCHED AND ETERNAL PUNISHMENT AND OUTER DARKNESS, AND THE ONLY WAY TO ESCAE IT IS TO REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND HAVE HIM (CHRIST JESUS) AS YOUR LORD.

    4. @May it please the court I think Jesus being raised from the dead addresses that issue. That’s precisely what sets him apart from every other religion and supposed god you mention. Jesus was – and still is – the living Son of the only God and is still seated today at the right hand of his Father. Put your trust in him so when you come face to face with the Lord God you can be confident that his death will give you eternal life.

  3. I wonder how many passengers had their seatbelts on and fastened. I would have thought that in these days radar should have picked up this weather pattern.

  4. The pilot did this on PURPOSE. He didn’t want to do his next shift so he caused this by taking the plane in a nose dive. Sad

    1. Obviously the flight attendants didn’t have a lesson to learn, they were just doing their jobs. This is certainly a prime example of why you should always be buckled unless you absolutely have to not be.

  5. Over decades of flying, 8 of which were constant for business, luckily not once did I experience such extreme turbulence. People that were hurt were probably waiting in line for the John.

  6. to those people who were thrown out of their seats: why haven’t you been buckled up in 33.000 feet altitude and knowing that turbulance or rough air might occur at any moment? It’s not for nothing that flightattendents have begun to request their passenger to fasten their seatbelts for years! It’s not the fault of Hawaiian but of those ignorant passengers!
