@Alex C My grandfather last year wanted a gun for self defense. It would have coast him six grand just from all the paperwork and months of waiting to buy one of the least powered personal self defense carryons. He died long months before the paperwork was even close to being done. Adding more and more regulations and fees again and again to *only* law-full citizens doesn’t work. These events show that.
It only strengthens a greater need for a black market. Similar to how making meth illegal to obtain doesn’t get it off the streets
