Senator Wants To Protect Consumer Data | Morning Joe | MSNBC
I forgot that she actually ran for president last year
Because they are old fossils and have no understanding of this and it’s impact.
Gillibrand was tight with Hillary till Gillibrand decided to run for president.
BERNIE2020
We had consumer data protection under Obama, but traitor Trump striped that away as soon as he got into office!!
That’s correct but noone is mentioning that. We also had Net neutrality.
How many year’s after Europe passed this law’s?
See, one of the big problems is that *WE **_ARE_* giving them these permissions. We all clicked that _”I have read and agree to the terms of service”_ button.
It’s made extremely vague, open-ended and complex, and that need to change – but still. People need to starting taking their own part far more seriously, too, of the responsibility for their own privacy.
*Stop signing contracts without reading them!*
The trolls are bombarding this video. I would guess that internet data protection is not their favorite subject.
If Mitch even allows it to go up for a vote,that’s the first problem.
melodk
haaha not wrong!
melodk the problem is that Gilibrand is a lying pig! Whatever she is saying you can expect the opposite! I won’t vote for her again
@Zeb Banister Wow. That’s rough.
Hmm. Sounds a LOT like what Andrew Yang was talking about during his Campaign.
Always good to see the bots out in force. Just wish they could all come up with more convincing names. Real American, Blue Sky, Brave Heart, New Horizons…. is this the best they could come up with?
Not a Bernie smear, except for the question’s framing. Gillibrand seems a moderate progressive. She will eventually endorse Bernie. Then she can really can get this work done.
when ever I see her I think of Al Franken and the great senator that we lost
Now we know, he didn’t have to resign.
@Fred M It’s easier in hindsight
I agree! She can never make up for that ridiculous frame. She can NEVER be trusted! We NEED Al Franken! He is a worker for the people, like Sanders. They would make a great team.
I like him as a comedian and a person. He supported clinton in 2016
@Christopher Billups so what? 80% of the Democrats supported Clinton.
Should have had Andrew Yang on to discuss this
Why cause he can just say give everyone a stack and everything else is solved?
How many anti-corruption bills has Yang got passed into law? Because, she and Klobuchar hold the record for that, in the Senate.
Will Moscow Mitch even allow it to go for a vote?
No. It will tamper with the money he and his friends are making in your country.
Thanks for nothing, Kirsten. You railroaded Al Franken out of the senate. Maybe you should have been working on this instead of a smear job on an outstanding senator.
Why no one doing anything — too busy drilling and running pipelines across protected lands.
Joe’s in love with himself and he pays others to act like they love him ! But he’s blinded by his love and he can’t see it lol lol lol
Many can argue about those “cookie banners” that claim to serve your needs. Reading further into the terms, some say they will use your data weather or not you accept the terms that apply to the website. Essentially America needs a warning delivered at all internet sites. Maybe call it the >> HR Section Data 101 warning that your data can be compromised. Sort of like getting Cancer notice from cigarettes or an official icon, please more than an emoji happy face, a warning such as > this internet site conforms to HR Section Data 101. Consumer data for use by the internet site can be validated by email. The consumer will be awarded for whistleblowing, reporting misuse, awards are as much as $250,000, or jail for offenders. All data must include information in the Metadata file for the new 5 th generation infrastructure. Crack on Watson.
it actually took them until 5:52 to mention the biggest anxiety of MSNBC. must be a new record this month. what a crisis.
“Why… Why… Why…” Cuz democrats are paid by the same big money to play it up and take a dive.
