@paradoxmo but in a tie the president of the Senate would break a tie. The VP role is filled by the Chief Justice in the case of an impeachment. In theory he is empowered with the same authority in that role. Following Jackson’s impeachment would allow him to do that bc technically the “legal precedent” was set. This is just my opinion.

According to the statutes of law as it pertains to the rules for an impeachment hearing- witnesses, documents of evidence, & all things pertaining to supporting the charges against the president in the matter are to be introduced & tried during the HOUSE ( democrats) hearings. They decided to withdraw boltons supeona & quickly vote to impeach & bring the charges to the senate via nancy pelosi & her million pens!
