He’ll be acquitted again. The former VP should be called as a witness. I never had any use for him, but he was the intended victim of the crazies, for doing a job he was required to do.
Republican sycophants “acquitting” him, despite the evidence, would not fly in a civilian unbiased court. This is the problem with the political nature of the wording of the Constitution that ambiguously gives the Senate power over truth and evidence to “acquit” contrary to evidence.
The fact that the right and Trump’s lawyers argued and still cry that this should NOT happen tells you that it must happen conviction or not. The point is to put the evidence on the record and have Trump put up an anemic defense built on more lies which will also go into the permanent record.
Thanks for stating the facts so plainly Sen Markey. It is morally irresponsible to allow people to live in poverty while working 40 hours a week.

People either forget or aren’t old enough to know that people used to be able to have a real career and raise a family, including buying a house, just by working full time at places like Sears. Now those same people have to work three jobs just to keep a roof over their head…. which rarely includes actually owning a home.
