    1. @Claressa Lucas I agree. Europe and Canada do not limit unemployment benefits. You stay on them until you get another job. Canada gives $2000 a month to every adult in addition to unemployment until pandemic ends. Same with most of Europe. I heard Germany gives $7,000 pandemic relief. What happened to Universal Health care that was promised? Yes, we need statehood for the territories and D.C. We need to pass a voter rights act and we need to add justices to the Supreme Court so they don’t vote voter rights down. I do think the people of West Virginia will be outraged if Manchin holds up stimulus when the REPUBLICAN governor is on TV BEGGING Manchin for relief and to go big. They will remember and vote him out, probably for a Republican. I would rather have that Republican Governor in Manchin’s seat. Maybe he will run. He seems to care what happens to the people. Manchin cares but he is way, way out of touch, when he insists a family of four working 40 hour week for 11 dollars an hour should do just fine, LOL….LMAO.

    2. @K M But…. McConnell is NOT majority leader, Schumer is! Manchin is standing DIRECTLY in the way of passing the stimulus. He is working with the GOP to cut it way down

    3. @kingsboro1 Hey, let’s try to get that REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR to run against Manchin for his seat. He cares about people. He would have voted with the Dems to pass that bill. Let Manchin go back to being governor. It’s a good job for penny pinchers.

    1. He is a Democratic senator, who manages to get reelected in the fourth most conservative state in the country, over and over. He votes with Democrats 75% of the time. He’s not a problem, he’s one of the Democratic party’s biggest assets. Without him, McConnell would still control the Senate.

  1. The conversation has already been had and I see you won’t talk about how you feel about my vice-president neither.

    1. Too bad he won in WV because of being a DINO. He represents Republicans in the state.

    2. @Paul Robert Making him a liability more than an asset. I just hope the Democrats pick up more senate seats in 2022 and the House remains under Democrat control.

  2. The bills might have been bipartisan, but the ones that got the most money was the 1% instead of lower and middle class regular Americans

    1. Having the Mnuchin Treasury Department in charge of distribution contributed a lot to the money being diverted to the top earners instead of those who really needed the help. There was a lot of money left from the Paycheck Protection Plan that Mnuchin refused to disperse, and he refused to allow an accounting of where the money that was spent actually went.

    2. @Kristen Rdesinski You are 100% right with your comments, too bad that only crooks and thieves have access to the money for the less fortunate in America as they make themselves richer and richer and to make matters worse they no longer even pay taxes thanks to the Republicans

  3. We really need to get rid of this man. There are far too many Republicans masquerading as Democrats in the party.

    1. @Deborah Freedman, He must have been a slave master in another life, to tell people they ought to be grateful for $11.00 per hour and people would be stupid to accept it.

  4. Minchin is a fool in his own mind do he remember what the Republican done in past years and he should go retire.

  5. And here my friends, is the man that is going to cause us innumerable headaches and suffering for the next 2 yrs. Mark my words. He will stop ANY progress.
